Woo-hoo! I've booked that week off work, so should be able to make the Nottingham leg no matter when it happens.

Would the first leg be at home or away? I am planning on coming back to England for the play-offs so want to make the home leg as well as the final.

Barring a terrible end to the season, a top 4 finish should mean a home leg on the night of May 11th/12th. So assuming the format is the same as in previous years:

Finishing 3rd
Sat 8th May Semi-Final 1st leg 12:45pm (away)
Tue 11th May Semi-Final 2nd leg TBC (home)

Finishing 4th
Sat 8th May Semi-Final 1st leg 5:30pm (away)
Wed 12th May Semi-Final 2nd leg TBC (home)

Finishing 5th
Sat 8th May Semi-Final 1st leg 5:30pm (home)
Wed 12th May Semi-Final 2nd leg TBC (away)

Finishing 6th
Sat 8th May Semi-Final 1st leg 12:45pm (home)
Tue 11th May Semi-Final 2nd leg TBC (away)

Why can't the final be on Sunday the 23rd! :(

If we play on the 8th and 11th then the second leg is on my Birthday. Last time we had a playoff game on my birthday we beat Yeovil away.

It better not be the 12.45 pm one.

My sister gets married at 2pm.

Selfish cow.

Remember the play-off SF 1st leg v the Blunts in 2003? I had to leave the pub at HT to attend a wedding....my own.

Walked round Positano the following Wednesday looking for a bar showing Sky Sports. Had to rely on texts from my best man.....

These dates are only provisional and could well be changed on police advice or Sky scheduling the games according to their needs.

I can't really see Swansea vs. Cardiff being sanctioned for the evening kick off on Saturday for example.

Well there game this saturday is a evening KO so I imagine that will be used as a tester for the fixture should it happen in the play offs.

I should imagine the police have been involved as they are confirmed,

From the site:

Remember all dates and times for the semi-finals are provisional and will not be confirmed until the clubs involved are finalised. The Finals for all three divisions will take place at Wembley with the Coca-Cola Championship match on Saturday 22nd May, League 1 on Saturday 29th May and League 2 on Sunday 30th May.

Do you think Forest V Lester would be sanctioned for an evening KO?

No idea, they didn't move the away game in February so possibly. They could easily move one of the semi final first legs to Sunday lunchtime or Friday evening though if needs must.

If we end up in the play-offs i'm hoping we finish 3rd or 4th then. Makes the away game easier to get to with it being at the weekend. I can get to the CG any night of the week. Cardiff would be a great tie to get as they have the best ground out of all the teams challenging for a playoff place, you can really make some noise in their new ground.

My friend gets married on the 8 th too, so i can't make it at all :(

Friends can be ditched.

I asked my sister yesterday if she'd mind me turning up 45 minutes late to her wedding.

Didn't exactly get a positive response. lol
