Hi all

Just a quick note to let you know that 'He Shot, He Scored' the biography of Peter Ward is now available via Amazon, Book Depository and Peter's own site: www.peterwardsoccer.com

The book details Peter's on-off transfer to Forest, his relationship with Clough and Taylor and also contains some interesting insight into life at Forest after the European successes.

There are interviews with Ian Wallace, Viv Anderson and Gary Mills plus contributions form a number of other stars of 70s and 80s football including Mark Lawrenson, Rodney Marsh, Alan Mullery, Ian Storey-Moore, Brian Horton and Alan Hinton.

If you would like a signed copy please send me a message.

Thanks

Thanks for letting us know Peter :)

I seem to remember this guy asking people if they knew anything about Ward and his career back in the research stages. Glad it has come to fruition.

Congrats.

Thanks - it was an interesting project. As a Brighton fan I knew a lot about Wardy's time with the Seagulls but very little about his career post-Albion. Thankfully quite a few Forest fans came forward with stories and info, which was a big help.

I hope that anyone who buys it, finds it an interesting read.

:)

I assume one of my friends my buy it as he's a massive Brighton supporter, so I'll see if I can 'borrow' his copy!

I'm glad things worked out for him in the states, its a shame he was partnered with wallace a lot of the time, not that wallace was bad - just that neither of them were very big!

Despite the obvious size "issues" both Wardy and Ian Wallace said that they would rather play together than be partnered with Fashanu.
