Very pleased with this news. Perchy is a quality player and will hopefully continue to develop. When he finds his best position (might never happen) he may well develop into a premiership quality player we can take with us! ;D

Great news, he's probably been the most consistent midfielder we've had this season and can hold his own in the championship. Give breckin another years contract. Really not fussed if we offer davies a contract if im honest.

He's certainly more than adequate for this division, glad to see he's signed.
In a similar vein to Morgan and Smith, he'll never win over a certain portion of the fanbase however.

Breckin is getting a bit too old for me now. He seems to be unable to sustain a place in the first team. Whether that was Calderwood preferring Wilson though I don't know.
Davies has struggled to impress really. I think he was part of the deal so we could increase the sum we were offering for Chris Cohen to an amount Yeovil couldn't refuse. Also a fan pleaser when we signed him. Especially after his performance knocked us out of the play offs.
Never particularly impressed me since he came in to the side. He did in pre season I must confess though I thought he was going to have a decent season but clearly just a blip. I doubt we would offer him a new deal.

We weren't too fussed about taking Davies, but Yeovil wanted big bucks for Cohen. Instead, we ended up paying £1M for Davies and around £200K for Cohen so Yeovil wouldn't lose the £400K had it been the other way round.
Clever bit of business by both sides....... if Davies had turned out to be any good.

Also, Arron Davies isn't out of contract this summer, he's got 'til summer 2010. Breckin definitely is though and I'm pretty sure Wes Morgan is as well.
A couple of the young 'uns are due to run out as well: Sinclair, Darnet, Bencherif (who will all probably get released) and then Byrne, Gamble and Redmond who will probably be assessed by BD and co over the next few months.
