Don't particularly rate any of that trio but they were all decent enough cover for the first 11. We have been pretty lucky with injuries all season but now that luck is turning 
An injury to someone like Morgan, Cohen or Gunter before the end of the season would catastrophic.

I think our best bet would be to stick Chambers at right-back to move Gunter across to the left. Not ideal though.

That's what I think should happen as well.
It's better to play a full-back as a full-back - albeit on the wrong side - than to play a centre back as a full-back on his weaker side.

agree, gunter can cover left back better than chambers although he didnt do a bad job second half on saturday when he replaced cohen.

Now i will probably get slaughtered for this and i know that Billy is a 4-4-2 man but i would like to see this in a 3-5-2.

I'd leave McGugan out of that line-up, move Cohen inside and start Boyd.

Not a bad shout. Thats probably the only formation where we can do the round pegs in round holes thing davies is always on about.
I'd take out mcgugan and replace him with cohen in the centre with boyd playing on the left.

If your gonna play that formation I'd sack off McGugan and stick Cohen in there. Play Tyson or Boyd on the left wing. Cohen needs to be in the centre to have his best influence on the game. And I'd get shut of Chambers for Gunts too

I know where you are coming from but whoever plays wide will have a lot of tracking back and defending to do and i think Cohen is the best man for that job on the left side in that system.

I base that on how I think Cohen changed things after the break against Preston. I like McGugan but this season he seems to be an impact player, I think the change last week in the 2 halves was down to taking Mcgugan off.

How about Wilson at left-back, Chambers in the centre and leave Gunts where he's best?
No way in this world have we got the players to play 3-5-2. Our wide players are all too attack minded, we'd be ultra-exposed down the flanks, leading to extra pressure on our shakey-when-pressured centre backs. Plus we don't have a holding midfielder who can screen in front of the back line.

We should try and get Aaron Mokoena on loan from Pompey. Had an injury recently, but is back in their squads although is often overlooked - bafflingly - in favour of Angelos Basinas.
