Good look Perchy, he's been a good servant to the club, and is a thoroughly nice bloke away from the City Ground (he always had time to say hello whenever I bumped in to him in Ruddington!)

He is a good utility player, and his versatility alone will be missed.

Left back? Lynch is a left footed defender who has played there in the past. Hell, even Chambers made a decent fist of it compared to the debacle I witnessed with Perch playing there.

Anyone any idea of the transfer fee?

The Evening Post said that the offer Newcastle made in January was £1.5million. The story on the BBC website says that Forest rejected that offer because it was "derisory".

Obviously, at that time they were promotion rivals in the same division, so we'd be reluctant to sell, but surely the price won't be lower than the £1.5mill in January?
