Won't be the first or last, Billy will make sure all his mates - and his brother - have their jobs sorted before we get round to actually signing players.

and so the billy davies era has begun........

For all the good work Pemberton has done, I'm sure he'll find another job soon enough as he's very good at what he does.

It's a real shame that he has left and it's the first decision I've not been best pleased with that Billy Davies has made, but we'll see. I'd imagine it's a case of Davies bringing in his tried and tested systems.

Remember, Billy Davies' record is second to none.

Yes , how true, because every other club in the league has signed at least 3000 new players this week.

Would Pemberton have been considered for the Forest managers job, if he had applied?

100% win rate as caretaker manager wasn't it?

what a great distraction the upcoming fixtures are.

Quit moaning.

Whilst I wish John all the best, people have got to look at the bigger picture here.

Quite frankly, I don't give a shit Billys bringing in his own people. I don't give a shit that they're replacing the previous staff.

I don't know about you lot but I'd rather have a successful First Team and a shit reserve side, rather than the exact opposite we've had in recent years.

Move on people.

At least we still have Liam O'Kane coaching the lads and Alan Hill to do the Manager's admin.

I don't like change, me.

I'd say Paul Hart was a bigger influence on most of those.

Loyalty is a precious commodity in football and it seems that JP had it in spades, alongside a real talent for nurturing young players. He was obviously very popular at the CG and Billy will need to be careful not to lose the 'hearts and minds' battle with staff and fans. However......BD clearly has a vision for how the club should be run and we mustn't get too judgemental as he puts his plans into place. It would help the PR battle if the club/BD clearly outlined what that plan was and how it is going to be implemented - for instance, what's going to happen to the reserve team and will the discredited 'transfer committee' be another element that bites the dust? (Oops and egg on face if these announcements have been made and I've missed them ::)

Forest's communication skills have always been a bit pants, so it's time for that to improve as an important strand of any new dawn.

A shame I think. He seems to be a good coach and I think anyone in need of a new manager in the lower leagues should give him a chance he would I think do very well and I would love to see him get into management after his success in his 2 games in temporary charge I think he deserves a job.

Gary

No wonder my post count..
Think he'll join the ranks of Premiership ex-forest managers?

If the rumours are true that we are going to stop the reserves playing in the reserve league and just have reserve friendlies then there isnt much point keeping him on. He has done a really good job bringing players through but Billy has said that he would rather loan players out and get them first team experience rather than reserves.

Perefect chance for them that has been looking for a reason to get get hysterical and anti before a ball is kicked to crack on.

In the real world, no great suprise, we owe Pembers a vote of thanks on many levels but it is not altogether a suprise given what BD had said about reorganising etc. If Hart does stay at Pompey expect Pembers to pop up there.

I was more in the line of thinking he's going to pop up at County with Charlie
