Paul Smith to Brentford?

I have it on good authority that Brentford are looking at taking Paul Smith back to Griffin Park. With him out of favour at Forest and newly promoted Brentford without a first choice goalkeeper signed for next season it looks to be a good move for both parties. It has been rumoured that Brentford are looking at 4 players that used to play for the club, and one of them is likely to be Smith. I am unsure if it is a permanent deal or a loan deal, but I have been realiably informed the wheels are in motion to make this happen.

I think this would be a great move for everyone involved if it is completed.

Not a chance buddy. Perhaps your getting Roberts on loan or something, but not Smith.

He'll go to southampton or leeds in league one. afew in championship.

Also, Roberts left the club a long time ago!

Absolutely no chance in hell. He is first choice here in the absense of any remotely credible competition, and I can't imagine leaving us for anyone other than at least our level.

We have 2 keepers, Redmond who was/is nowhere near the first team and Smith. So there is no chance of this happening.
