IF we're all believing this squad training nunber thingy too, seeing Garner in 14 means the 16 shirt is free and McKenna has always wore that number.

This could be our most important signing of the summer.

What you on about? He's one of the best midfielders in the league, although he is about 30 now. He would be a huge asset to any team in this league!

Good enough to say he will kill himself if it doesn't happen. Granted he is a good player, I never said he wasn't but I wouldn't openly come out and say I will kill myself if it didn't happen. Well maybe if we were strongly being linked with Messi
 
He'll be like Ian Bowyer i imagine , the type that does his work without any fuss and let the better players play around him and make the team run smoothly.
I remember Bowyer has scored a few scorchers like McKenna did.
 
When I said we were hopefully signing Paul McKenna, my boss said "So you're gonna get him to hypnotise the opposition to try and win games now!"
 
looking at our midfield options they are at the moment: Anderson McGugan Moussi Thornhill Cohen Davies McCleary (plus Byrne and Reid), so I think we still need at least 1 if not 2 more, given that Thornhill may go out on loan anyway, Davies may be loaned/sold.
 
Thornhill has already gone / is going to Brighton, isn't he?

Its good to see Preston fans not wanting Mckenna to go.
