On the coach on the way home to Notingham last night the conversation arose of Paul Mc Kenna wearing a Leicester Shirt at full time. Many who were sat around us thought it was disrepectful towards the Forest fan by coming over and wearing a Leicester, after being outplayed and losing to our Local rivals.A lot said Stuart Pearce wouldn't ever think of doing such thing back in the day as he was Forest through and through.

He swapped shirts with one of their players, at their instigation.

That's all there is to it really. If it were a Derby shirt then yes, it would be annoying - but what does a Leicester shirt matter to anyone?

What a waste of a thread! Players swap shirts all the time and there's no 'disrespect' involved.

He swapped shirts and it was freezing and raning so he would of put it on to keep warm. Why do people make such big deals over petty things?

Ah come on, you can understand surely, definitely nothing meant by it, even if he didn't mean anything it's a bit daft to get offended.

:nowink:

Jesus wept, Forest fans really are retarded aren't they. I couldn't give a f*ck what shirt Paul McKenna wears, especially by coincidence at the end of a match.

To be honest I happen to know Paul and he's told me that he's completely disillusioned with Forest and the lack of signings in January and the lack of ambition shown by the club and he is joining the foxes in June, Milan Mandrake is going to spend big in the summer in an attempt to replicate what he achieved at Portsmouth.
Paul was just trying on the shirt (Paul Ince style) before the deal is announced.

Lovely conclusion on things :)

I hope Mandaric can fully replicate his wonderful achievements at Portsmouth.

Think this through. There is a perfectly reasonable explaination.

Mckenna wanted to wash his car today because it's quite dirty. To save himself buting a cloth to wash it with, he nicked one of the shirts from one of the Leicester lads then slipped it on because he wanted to check if the material would scratch his car paintwork or not.

Easy to figure out.

;D

Stuart Pearce once wore a Derby shirt for a whole match.

Perhaps we should have burnt him?

So what.

Must have been a bitchy coach ride if thats what you got talking about.

He swapped shirts and put it on afterwards.

Frank Lampard conducted an interview at the San Siro in an Inter shirt after the match, is that 2 fingers up to all Chelsea fans ? Is it hell.

lol

One of the bugbears I do have with Leicester is their avoiding any meaningful punishment for administration.

You know, when you paid about 10p in the £1 for your ground, but didn't get the points deduction such actions would get now?

Aye, they were. It was Leicester's exploiting of the loophole that brought about the change in rules.

Frustrating for a fan of a team who had to sell off talent and rebuild from the ground up in order to honourably pay their creditors.

I'm still glad Forest did things the right way though.

I think he should be hanged for such a crime.

I mean, its fine to "support Forest" but boo the manager, boo the players, come on to the internet and slag the acquisitons panel, the owner, the players, the team, the tactics and many other things, but heaven forbid to swap your dirty shirt after the game has finished with an opposition player...... hang him........

I can's see Pearce doing anything like that....

I wouldn't have even cared if it was a Derby shirt. Football fans have a real aptitude for taking offence at the most trivial things.
