I agree with him about BD. For all his talk of long term aims he did not accumulate six top class (for this level) strikers in order to finish 10th.

I think 4 players have said now that promotion is the aim this season and I doubt they all arrived at that conclusion independently, nor do I think Gunter, Anderson etc were tempted with promises of being in the premiership in 3 years.

I shall be disappointed to finish outside the top six this year now and it can't be a bad thing if the players feel the same.

I'm sure he is a Forest fan... If it isn't him, there is defintely one of their band of live text updaters that supports the Reds.

Nottingham Forest seem to be everyone's dark horses this year. David McGoldrick and Dexter Blackstock will add goals, Paul McKenna and Chris Gunter, one of the surprise signings of the summer, will add solidity and Billy Davies certainly knows what he's doing at this level but let's not get carried away. Just seven points kept Forest up last season and they were 21 away from the play-offs – they have an awful lot to do to. Dele Adebola is still a nightmare for defenders at this level but too often last season the Forest back four was a dream for attackers.
