Pathetic Derby - Have your joke of a tin pot ego cup back!

Lets put this pathetic mardy situation to bed once and for all.

Send that Derby PR stunt cup back to the American fool who created it.

Do we really need it? Do we fu*k.

Brian was our manager for 17 years and nothing will ever take that away from us. The rest is history as they say.

Derbys american owner created this PR stunt when derby were a Prem team having just pocketed 60 million. At the time, Forest were an average 3 flight team! We all got dragged along in the emotion at the time. But for fook sake.

Send it back down Brian Clough Way and tell that american c**t he can keep it forever.

Savage is a disgrace to the footballing profession. 18k pw! Hes screwing direby over big time. Long may it continue. A combined 30k pw with commons is the perfect recipe for another period of meltdown at this farce of a club.

The Telegraph in derby keeps quoting how Tyson "Ripped" the corner flag out the ground! Those of us that were there, know he took it off a ball boy half way up the touchline.

We all know he did not parade smack bang in front of the direby fools - The pictures show he was clearly outside the penalty box line - before the handbag brigade came flying in (& savage moved quietly away! lol)

Savage did the same last year at The City Ground with a scarf - The Telegraph in direby seems to think he only celebrated with his own fans? How did he manage that at our ground with 24k Forest in there?

Tonight there is even some pis& poor front page article about a girl fan who was knocked unconscious in the melee! She blames Tyson - No mention of the direby fans who knocked her of her feet on the stairwell.

If anybody wants a chat their names are Kenzie & Nina Myers, from Jackson Avenue, Mickleover. Kenzie plays for derby c**ty ladies club! lol

Talk about sour grapes! We always knew that direby were desperate to cling onto our shadow and keep any sort of connection possible to the name Clough. Jesus, they even employed a none league manager to keep the name alive - selling a few more season tickets to fuc*wit fans who believed their one season of glory 40+ years ago would return! Fu**ing inbred *******!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best way to draw a line under this in my opinion is to send the cheap tacky trophy back to the advertising guru who created it! We simply dont need it! We have the history & thats all that matters!

I think any fan who agrees with this action should email the club and put forward their request!

Pride is restored! Thank you Nathan, Billy & Nigel.

Not stopped smiling inside & out. U Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your still upset it didn't end 3-3 aren't you

I would love it if all of these false reports coming out of the Derby spin maching (ripping out the corner flag etc) come back to haunt them when the FA decide what they are doing.

Yep, another huge dilemma 3 - 3.

Looking @ 2k if it came in!

I did have £2 on 3 - 2 though @ 35/1.

But it was my birthday and we beat derby for the first time in 5/6 years.

Do you really think I would have taken the 2k??????????????

Perfectly eloquent, as usual Kilburn. ;D

As for the Brian Clough trophy, you're right. The actual cup is worth nothing to anyone, but the effort, the skill, the determination and the passion it took to achieve it is something that we have earned and we all carry that within us.

The evidence is clear to those who wish to see it. Derby, Nigel Clough, Savage and all those who are reporting opinion opposed to fact will achieve nothing other than to show just what we all suspected.

I can't be arsed to say what I've already said elsewhere, so I'll leave it at this;

The whole of everything related to Derby County or Derby in anyway (including the worlds media), what a bunch of *****.

Seriously though, with the BC trophy thing, I couldn't care less, we won 3-2, our first win over the sheep in over 6 years, I'll enjoy that for now, not a piece of tin moulded by a fat drunk American to whom Derby is just a toy, f*** all the ***** I say.

I agree. I couldn't give a f**k about the trophy and neither could BD or McKenna judging by their faces when they posed with it. The 3 points are a lot more precious. It's actually a bit embarrasing really, like when DC United awarded themselves that trophy when they won their friendly against us a few years back.

You must be just up the road from me... Belper/Holbrook/Ambergate/Heage it's all DCFC ..surely Kilburn is too ? :)

Anyway do you really think DCFC gave a f*ck about retaining that trophy? We wanted the 3 points much, much more ... jeez it was played in August and folk are making such sweeping statements and conclusions over this game... photogarph the table at the end of November, that's when you can begin to reach such conclusions... we're a big club and beating sheff utd next game is more important to me now... we move on. you do too ... the trophy is , like the statue and the a52, just another method of honouring the great man..

As trivial as the trophy itself is, you have to remember that we've now won two trophies this season so far. For the first time in a very long time the players are getting a little taste of what it is like to attain success on a football field.

Didn't Clough say that the most important trophy he ever won here was the firt one (thinkt he actual trophy is a ship), as it gave the players the taste of success that whetted the appetite for more.

Indeed he did. It was the Anglo-Scottish cup which we won in 1976 in the final against Orient (searches for PYDKM). It was after the win in Munich that Clough reflected upon the importance of winning it and the positive effect it had on Forest later on.

"The Anglo-Scottish Cup was something to us, to the club and the players. It provided us with a cup, and players who hadn't won anything with a medal - players like Woodcock, Withe and half a dozen others who had got nothing out of their careers until we got our hands on that trophy. success of any description was something this club hadn't know for nearly twenty years. Our lot tasted champagne [for the first time] and found they liked it."

"You could see the lot of 'em, chests out, backs straight that night. We'd won something, and it made all the difference".

Everyone's happy again!

Wooooooo. It was a long, dark 4/5 years but it feels good.

Now, I've got a real urge to go buy a ticket to the next away game and just sing deleriously for 90 minutes because 22 blokes are whacking a bag of leather around a rectangle of grass. Who's with me? :psycho:
