Ok, I normally park in west bridgeford, but the missus wants to go into town in the morning, so I was gonna park somewhere between the ground and town, nip into town, bus to the ground to see us dismally lose to bristols, then stroll back to the car...

any suggestions? Im thinking lady bay area?

What's the problem with parking in the Meadows? I park in Johannesburg every day! ;D

Lady Bay area doesn't really save you any time on getting to town vs Bridgford. You can park on Iremonger Road alongside Meadow Lane, that will save you a modicum more time.

There's Lady Bay retail park. Not far from lady bay bridge and a bus goes to town from there. Plenty of free parking.

whats the bus service like between town and the ground?

Good.

Every NCT bus from 1-11 goes over Trent Bridge. They depart every 3 or 4 minutes from the stops on Angel Row / outside Gregg's just off the square. You can also catch them at the back of the Broadmarsh (opposite Ocean nightclub), or at the train station.

Get off and walk over Trent Bridge, its quicker than sitting in traffic.

sounds like a plan.
Id be quite happy to walk, unless it rains like its supposed to...
and I have my elderly in-laws to look after too...

The walk from town always takes longer than I anticipate... especially as Trent Bridge is always packed which really slows the job down.

I usually walk it in stages, stopping in Hooters for a beer before the last leg of the journey.

Not sure if I missed asomething, but why not in the meadows?

I always park there, have done for well over 20 years and will be on Saturday.
