Pape Sarr

If forest are going all in for armstrong , any other links to midfielders are presumbly dead. (Save for andre who seemed like he's for next season)
 
Sarr is great. Love to have him. Spurs will need to offload him as well, since he probably won't make their 25 man squad. Buying Tonali for 100 forcing you to sell Sarr for 40 doesn't sound like a great idea to me.

Well I’m more enthusiastic about this lad than the Armstrong lad. Especially given the rumoured figures. Sarr is still young, looked good a couple years ago, got lots to prove and gives us much needed legs in the middle.
As encouraging it is to see the Everton fans reaction to our bid for Armstrong, I feel much of that is tinted based on him being English and coming through their youth team. So far he is untested in the prem. How often do we see young lads have a breakthrough season, get touted to be the next big thing then they just fade away into the abyss over the next years

I expect his mum and dad are quite enthusiastic about him. I've only seen him on telly but yes, I like him. Wharton is a better passer, Garner is a better tackler, but Sarr is decent at both and more physical, more box-to-box, more get up and down.

Bisouma was the weak link in that Spurs midfield, I always thought.
