Pape Sarr

The biggest one I can remember is when we brought Mickel Antonio from Sheffield Wednesday who turned out to be an excellent signing.
Just to add to my previous post, the biggest negative reaction I recall was when Cloughie made the inspired signings of John McGovern and John O'Hare. It was bad enough as it was, but had the internet been around then, the vitriol would've been off-the-scale.

Why is it that when we might be bringing in a player all I see is a negative response. Do you remember when Wood was coming from Newcastle. The biggest one I can remember is when we brought Mickel Antonio from Sheffield Wednesday who turned out to be an excellent signing. Give players a chance and then make your mind up.
The purchases of McGovern and O’Hare from Leeds hardly had people dancing on Trent Bridge either.

I keep hearing that Spurs will need the cash, they won't. They are in no danger from SCR or whatever they call it now. They make nearly 600 million a year with 5 million plus every matchday, numbers we can only dream of. They can spend what they want, not that they would ever be sanctioned if they did break any limits.
Is that £5 million plus PROFIT every match day?

If Sarr wants to go to Monaco why would we buy him?
Spending £x millions on a player who doesn’t want to be here seems a bit daft to me.
Why get wound-up by that?
IF he has said that it doesn't necessarily mean he’s having a pop at us. I expect there are numerous PL players who would choose to live and play football in Monte Carlo too if they were offered the choice.

I don't come on here to read that kind of nonsense 😂
