Wearing white would be a mistake. Home shirts is obviously the best idea but a red coat would suffice. I'd enjoy seeing forest flags on the opposite side of the ground to me or even knowing they were behind me but wouldn't be keen to have many in front of me.

Love your enthusiasm

Id quite like the holding of the scarfs aloft to the mull of kintyre at the start of each half, me and Liz do it!

If there isn't a instrumental version of 'mist rolling in from the trent' to be played over the tanoy we should make one.

Sir P McC needs silencing

That's a good idea, I shall suggest it.

Red shirts are to be encouraged, but anything 'themed' strikes me as being embarrassing and doomed to failure.

I wonder if they'll be bringing the ram masks?

The Derby fans are having a big tantrum because Forest have told them they can't bring their big fans flag. (the massive one that 'surfs' over the crowd)

They only asked out of courtesy, then somebody at Forest decided it would be a good idea to say no!

I both agree and disagree.

The tacky way a lot of teams go about this sort of thing is horrid. The sheep masks are a fine example.

That said, watch a Holland game to see the effect of this done properly.

I was in Schiphol airport in the summer when Holland had a game in the European Championships. Absolutely everyone had orange on, and it was truly a sight to behold.

People claim the Geordies are the best fans in the world, for me it's the Dutch.

I cringed when I saw the lambs holding up their masks at pride park, it was like something out of playschool and whoever's idea it was wanted shooting, or buggering.

However, the traditional methods of showing support in the crowd are all wholeheartedly endorsed by me, and I believe this is all the thread starter was mentioning. I don't get why people get so upset when its mentioned that we inject a bit of life and colour into the CG, so long as its done propperly without fake masks etc then its quality.

I'd love to see the entire Trent End hold their scarves aloft for Mull of Kintyre, it would be a sight to behold indeed. The Kop at Anfield is incredible on the big nights, and they love all their scarves n flags etc.

one of the funniest sights was to witness a feckin sheep trot onto the direby pitch, the look of total fear of the sheep and total pride of the little lambs faces was quite frankly disturbing :)

why the rspca have not instigated this crime scene is beyond me
