Abbot is way off a PL full back. By the sounds of preseason Cunha has more of a chance there, despite obviously being a CB.
(He looks very classy in the flesh btw - just warming up you can see his quality.)

This guy has signed for Oly now, in case you haven't noticed. Came on last night after 55-60 minutes, as Nijmegen had started the 2nd half very brightly and threatened a lot from the left, so he came on as a RB. The threats waned and then stopped, but I'm not sure if it was down to him being good or them tiring. However, I remember him failing to stop their winger and then being bypassed by him with no significant effort in what was pretty much his first involvement in the game. Husband says he hasn't looked good in any of the friendlies either. I really doubt he was ever going to be our signing, probably just another Carmo. I don't like saying this about players, but seems like a bullet dodged.
