You see, we're too big for this league. Would you mind giving us 3 points to help us beat West Brom to 2nd? We clearly deserve it.

Wow! That's amazing if it happens.

It's probably one of the biggest games of the season and was always going to be a sellout despite being moved to a Monday night and being televised on Sky.

St James's hold around 53,000. Dont think it will totally sell out, but 50k for a championship game is going to amazing for the lads to play in front of. Been a while since ive seen the reds play in front of a crowd that size, cant wait now! Hope they dont bottle it! just a shame im going to have to take my binoculars!

I wonder if the barcode fans moan as much as we do about the stay away fans who come out of the woodwork for the big games!

think forest and newcastle fans would both agree with prefering eachother to go up over wba.

I think the origional poster is getting a bit carried away here. Local media is saying the club is expecting a crowd of around 47,000 for tonight which would make it the 3rd biggest of the season. Still a good turnout for a midweek match live on TV.

For those of you who haven't left yet (apparently there's already a few of your lot enjoying the many pubs in Newcastle ) have a safe journey and the best places to drink are Bar Beyond in the Gate, the pubs in the Haymarket area (Three Bulls, The Goose, The Percy, The Hotspur and also a few good pubs near the stadium (Strawberry, Newcastle Arms, Rosies, Hyena).

Probably best to avoid the Bigg Market area if you're wearing a Forest shirt as the pubs around there still attract a few lunatics sadly.

Just looked at the home side online ticket sales and there were a lot of empty seats to be had, in some sections whole blocks seemed to be available!

Is Trillions still open? - that's the last Newcastle pub I went to.

Attendance doesn't = points

Wigan, Bolton, Burnley, Birmingham, Wolves, Fulham, Pompey, etc will not Average half that but they are in the PL. If you want to discuss attendance try the Derby boards thats all their fans bleat on about!

That is because they have a bigger fanbase than Forest but a poorer team. They can't talk about how good their team is because they are struggling in the bottom half of the league but they get excellent attendances all things considered.

Thats because they give away thousands of free tickets

Google buymobilephones.net
or Gadbys latest take over attempt

I cant be bothered myself becuase I find the whole attendance thing rather boring!

Got some doubts it'll top 50,000.
Live on the box and Monday night.
I reckon high 40's.
It may well top our 49,600, but we'll see.
You've sold your allocation, most don't get close.
Sheff Wed fans did, and I think they were the only other ones to do so

Loads of teams have sold their full allocation at SJP this season;

Sheff Wed, Cardiff, Barnsley, Bristol City, Swansea, Doncaster, Middlesbrough (just) and Preston so far.
