Out of contracts Players

You know what else could be interesting? A golfer with an arm growing out of his ass! ...

Wilson and Earnie are the main concerns, Tyson and Smith not really bothered about, unless Tys somehow has a remarkable season with his recent upturn in performances, but the thing is he doesn't get enough goals. From his comments looks like we are looking at wingers, but if Cohen isn't to play wide, then where does he play? With Majewski, Moussi, McKenna and McGugan all battling for the central slots already. And we wanted to get Pratley as well. Then again, it is about squad strength.

What a cock of a manager we have.

No we dont, theres nothing actually cockish in that interview, bar the headline which isnt even a quote.

Why didn't we sell Tys for a million when we had the chance?

I imagine we'll lose Kelvin for nothing to Celtic come next summer. Depending on how we fair this season will see if Earnie signs a new contract.

Shouldn't think so mate, Lennon will be sacked long before then and his shopping list will be torn up... Agree with you about Tyson. Didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to pay 1m+ for him...

We got more than a million for Perch, though. And that was pounds, not peas. How daft is Calderwood, eh? Could we get him to buy up anyone who's not good enough for us and about to go on a free? Paul Smith to the Toon for ÂŁ1m?

Don't understand the cock comment aimed at Billy. He's exactly right in that contracts should be discussed in November/December rather than now while we should be concentrating on strengthening the side.

He actually said between summer and Nov/Dec - which also qualifies as 'nowish'...

I thought tyson was given a new 4 year deal last year?

He was but when MA passed it him he miscontrolled it and it ended up in the bin!!

With regards to Wilson he was in MA's office everyday before the season started for the best part of a fortnight. I am assuming this was to do with the Celtic offer but would this not have been a good time to offer a new contract??

I thought tyson was given a new 4 year deal last year?

This confused me too. I thought when billy came in, the very first thing he did was give nathan a contract? Because tyson had turned down the previous offers because of some clauses or something?

The cock reaction is ridiculous.
We were third last season and Davies got us out of relegation the season before.
Teams know we are pushing for the Premiership, so they hold out for deals on players that we just cannot afford.

Cock reaction? Does Billy get his knob out in this interview or something...?

Tyson was given a new contract - a 2.5 year one in January '09, which takes him up to next summer.

It's been heavily rumoured in the press that Wilson turned down a new offer this summer, I guess as he's in demand he'll put any offer on hold until next June when he'll be at his best bargaining position.

Unfortunately , we do have some cocks among our fans. Shame that. :spankarse:
