Osbourne In!!!

Solid, dependable and full of experience. Great help to the naive squad.

Is he any good?

Always a good signing on Football Manager.

His brother plays for Coventry - Isaac Osbourne - and Isiah is meant to be better.

:D Very good, beat me to it.

Not what was expected, but with us failing to recruit a striker, I think it makes sense to at least shore up the midfield for when we play 4-5-1.

This system worked well for most of the game on Saturday, and as Osbourne's a holding midfielder it should allow Lewis more of a free role where he can start terrorising defenders by running at them like he did on Saturday. This was largely what The Moose added to proceedings at the MadSki, but you can't expect him to be playing all the time having had so long out.

This is an astute signing.

It says on wikipedia that he's a holding midfielder. What's that? ???

Does he understand the role? Maybe it just means he passes sideways and back?

Something James Perch has been trying to impersonate all season.

Fat and lazy player. Not a defender, not a midfielder. Bit like a sweeper, just in front of defence not behind.

Villa have taken the news down from the Official Website!
:D Mark Arthur must have entered the negociations at a late stage.

Ours said until the end of the season.

The story is still there on the main page, but if you click on it, you get an error message similarly to the Villa site.
