I prefer added training then we know they be fit for the season,In 2004 the fitness regime under Joe was shite as the only sweat the players got were signing autographs and Alan Rogers having a kebab as his new stapled diet which backfired.

I'd rather the players fitness and preseason was full and useful than having players sat about signing autographs personally.

Excuse you sir.

Football is aimed at at the family environment... It pays for their full and plush lifestyle. Honestly, if they can't pay back 4 hours of casual/training time in a season then they are contradicting everything the FA has preached to clubs for many years.

In simple terms... Do you think in those four hours extra -out of the WHOLE season- that Wes could learn to think for himself? That Bennett would listen to Wilson and stay back rather than just fly forward as and when he felt like it? That Earnie would be up for every game?

I think not.

Give the kids and suppporters their chance to touch those they believe to be Gods, because they are only Gods whilst they are believed in.

Al, I never thought I would say this but... well.. ya muppet.

You can't really question Earnie commitment Whorya without his goals especially his hot streak in December Jan time where we scored againest:

Plymouth
Charlton
Preston
Norwich
Coventry

We would be f**ked without his goal ok the loan signings helped towards the end but 18 goals or so from a injury hit season is good going so to question his commitment is daft he is always in the area where a goal poacher should be.

You can't go by his own confidence games. Wolves is one that comes to mind but his attitude seemed strange.

The Wolves game he played on with an injury for as long as he could because we'd already used all our subs you mean?
