Annoyed about tonight but the playoffs are basically a lottery I've never liked them and we always seem to do crap in them!
We've shown enough promise this season to encourage me to think we'll do well over the next couple of seasons. We'd have finished second this season if it basically wasn't for Newcastle being in this league. None of the teams that have come down will amount to much next season. I'd say we are one of the top guns. If we can repeat or home form and have a decent spell away we should be fine. I'd say playoffs again minimum.
We might not get auto next season, although it's possible. We just need to try and improve our squad, get rid of the deadwood and assemble a team capable of an assault on the league title within the next few seasons.
