Only 6 away games won under BD!!!

Geoff Thomas
Charlton 0, Forest 2 (Charlton relegated)
Reading 0, Forest 1 (Reading go on long run without winning at home)
Plymouth 0 Forest 1 (Plymouth relegated)
Posh 1 Forest 2 (Posh relegated)
Swansea 0, Forest 1 (Swansea couldn't score to save their lives)
WBA 1, Forest 3 (A genuine top class display)

Now the bad...

In the other 33 away games Forest have played under tactical genius Billy Davies we have won NIL and only scored more than once when the reserves - ie not really his team - drew 2-2 at S****horpe United.

How can we overcome this?

stop playing ****ty tactics away from home like we are scared, go out attacking, make teams fear us, and dont play adebola upfront!

Did draw half of the away games last season though. So...win most at home(18 out of 23 last season), draw away...we're up!!!

In fact, I would rather go to 3 and a bit seasons ago were we were playing in League 1 rather than have this away record.

anyone clever enough to tell us what Billy's away record was like at Preston and the sheep ?

Good stat. Another way of looking at it is that in the away table last season we came 12th. Now that's not so bad is it?

I think its a combination of squad mentality as much as the tactics to be honest.

I'm a massive fan of Davies, but that is an appalling record, but it shows how good our home form has been so that we have achieved what we have done other him.

Not questioning your knowledge, but I can remember us scoring more than once at least one other time. At Preston.

Shocking stat. we go far too defensive. But saying that our 'unbeaten' run ended last season at the sheep when we went 4-4-2. So can argue each way.....
