Online Ticketing Problem.

I've been having a problem for the last few days with the on line ticketing system and was wondering whether others are having the same problem or if it's an issue with my PC.

I can log on OK and when I click "buy tickets" it goes to the list of available matches.
Then when I click on the match I'm interested in I get a message saying "Error loading theme data. Reloading the page may fix the issue". (It's the same regardless of which match I select)

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Nope - it's working for me - see attached.

It may have started doing it at around the same time I upgraded to Internet Explorer 7.
Don't know if that's a coincidence.

Try clicking on that little 'compatibility fix' button - to the right of the address bar.

I can't see a 'compatibility fix' button, what is that?

To the right hand side of the address bar there should be what looks like a torm piece of paper.

However, I think this is on IE8.

IE7 should be okay since this is what most internet sites would have been tested against. IE8 has only just come out and that will result in problems - whilst web developers tweak their sites to work in IE8.

If you are definitely sure you have IE7 then it sounds like a problem with your PC:

1. Do you have any pop-up blockers installed? (even freebie utilities from Google/Yahoo may have a pop-up blocker which may affect your usage of some sites). Try uninstalling any extra toolbars if in any doubt.
2. Are cookies enabled? (most sites will need cookies to be enabled).
3. Try clearing your temporary internet files.

If none of these work, you'll have the following choices:

1. Reload your PC.
2. Do a system restore to a point prior to you having the problem - beware, whilst your data won't be affected; any applications you installed between then and now will need reinstalling.
3. Using an alternative browser such as Firefox or Safari.

I got it once on. nffcretail.com
switched back to the .co.uk site and worked fine....

I just tried that and it works fine!

If I go on nffcretail.com I get the error message, but with nffcretail.co.uk I have no problem.

How very strange!

If you go to the Nottingham Forest main website and follow the links through the information pages, it tells you to visit the .co.uk site.

Not sure why they have a .co.uk and .com website set up, if you're only supposed to be using .co.uk.

New question -

When you buy a ticket online, but select "Collect" as the option, does the site send the confirmation email, and how reliable has this been in the recent past?

In the "payment processed" page, it said "Email will be sent to " BLANK

As I went to click File > Print, I inadvertantly hit BACK and I can't get hold of the reference number....

Under the myaccount link at the top of the page you should have an option of order history

With Flagman's mum in hospital, Flagman's Big Sister will be coming down to visit and watch the game and give Flagman's Dad a hand with stuff at the weekend.

When ever I brought tickets online and collected them I have just given them my client reference number and got my tickets without any problems.

Almost on topic - I've never had much luck with the club online shop. I cant see that its set up to give a season ticket holder their discount. So i only use it in emergencies, i mostly get stuff when i'm in nottingham so i can haggle to get my discount and save on postage. Englandfan site is the same but my solution with that is to phone to get my discount.

I dont think they made a mistake setting up the sites, i think they try to avoid giving the discount.

Nearly on topic - just looked for home kit online, they've only got 2 items - adult shorts and kids socks. Hopeless?
