Omari Elijah Giraud-Hutchinson

We don't need another winger. We have a Morgan 💪
Very true but if we had one to come of the bench it'd be handy.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with them all at the end of the season now Morgans taken that place.

Yes it’s not that we need a “winger” as such. We need players that can play in multiple positions and adapt to the game. The reason Omari has stepped up is because his gameplay isn’t just focused down the wing now, sure that’s his position but he’s getting better moving in and taking players on in the middle. He’s drifting in. Fair play to VP here, he’s clearly told the players, just express yourselves out there. We had a rigid system that can work, but it was a hindrance at times.

I've just seen the video on X of him catching a ball pinged out to him between his legs without it bouncing and him doing a flip with it still there, then volleying it.

What. The. f***. 😄

The catch isn't that difficult but the flip and little lollipop immediately after, Christ 😂

When he pulls that off against Villa, we'll all call it 'disgusting' and say it doesn't have a place in our game ;)

I hate to be critical and hope he proves me wrong like Neco Williams but I can’t see him ever being a consistently good premier league player. Not sure what game the sponsor who voted man of the match was watching.

Sponsor was absolutely leathered if thats the case :ROFLMAO: He was poor today, indecisiveness on the ball and way too passive off it. Big summer ahead of him (he's not the only one).

What really worries me is his total dereliction of any defensive duty. Hung Cunha out to dry yesterday. He's no Messi so he has to work hard on both sides of the game.
Agreed, had me fuming watching him half arse it back. Even when he did get himself back Bournemouth players could just walk past him like someone had plonked a traffic cone on the pitch

Perhaps his sun cream was in his eyes this time

I'm still hoping that things magically click for him one day, and he figures out top level football. He's only 22 after all.

Someone like Mahrez springs to mind. All of a sudden the goals just started flowing.

Agreed. He’s got a lot of talent but he’s lightweight and decision making is suspect. He’s a luxury player at the moment and I’m not sure I see him ever getting past that. He cost an awful lot of money, if we can get anywhere near recouping it I’d take it and run fast.
We're going to see next season how his mentality to football is. He's got the talent and the tools, but he really needs to have the mental drive if he wants to add that consistency to his game and become a Premier League regular for the next decade.

Yes, I think his all round game is okay - but he needs to contribute more in terms of g+a next season if he wants to start every game.

We know wingers can go through spells

His problem is he's 5'4 and gets bullied off the ball far too easily.

He's not quick enough or tricky enough to get past players regularly unless he's coming on as a sub on the 80th minute Vs tired legs.

Sell to Newcastle for £50m and buy Elanga for £50m. PSR's a good un.
