Found this on the press talk bit on the OS.

Can't say I've ever heard of him.

Olivier Karekezi has been linked with a move to English Championship side Nottingham Forest.
The Rwanda skipper told Times Sport that his dream of plying his trade in England could be accomplished before the end of this month.
"I'm waiting for the [UK] visa before I can fly out to England for talks with some English clubs," said Karekezi. Though he did not name the clubs interested in his signature, sources told the paper that Nottingham Forest are one of his suitors.

Olivier Karekezi (born 25 May 1983) is a Rwandan footballer, currently playing for Hamarkameratene in the Norwegian Premier Division. He is an attacking midfielder or forward. He signed for Helsingborgs IF in 2005, leaving his native club APR FC, and scored five goals in 18 matches during the 2005 season. In 2006, he scored 11 goals for Helsingborg and thereby became their top scorer in Allsvenskan. In January 2008 he transferred to Hamarkameratene.

::)

Attacking Midfielder or Forward? If we're signing anyone that doesn't play in defence then it's BD/MA/ND who are Karezi.

He's one for Notts. Not good enough for us. If we were after another striker they would have to be outstanding. His scoring record in the Swedish league shows he is not.

Sven is Swedish, he plays there. Mistaken identity by the african news. Perhaps this is Svens tactic for signing new players. ;D

Anyone remember the last time Notts County got all excited about a big African signing?

Probably just me...

That's Michael Emenalo, signed by Notts in the Summer of 1994, shortly after the World Cup, when all the Big European Clubs were recruiting members of Nigeria's World Cup squad. I remember then notts Manager Mike Walker bigging him up as the signing who would help them finally be better than Forest.

Emenalo made 7 indistinguished appearances for County before moving to the States.
