Oliver „No Middle Name“ Glasner

There will be no Oliver Glasner Rolling Scorecard this season 👏🔴
A pity, because I thoroughly enjoyed the others but I can see why.

Herr Glasner is a very good coach and I’m convinced that Forest are in good hands with him.

I'm pretty sure I saw him cycling along Wilford Lane the other day. I did then learn he has a driving ban for speeding so that supports my sighting 😅
OG? Really? I thought he'd be one of those very by-the-law guys.

(Also, my landlord used to live on Wilford Lane, and I stayed in a room in their house for a month, as I still hadn't finished my MSc by the time they wanted to re-rent my Meadows room... I knew it was a nice neighbourhood, but hadn't realised at the time how close it was to the training grounds!)

Thank you for this post. I have even more misgivings about this appointment than you appear to, in part because of what you've outlined, partly due to Glasner's supposed alienating of players - in stark contrast to VP's cohesive, vibes approach - and partly due to his defensive, counterattacking style that had Spurs fans expressing concern about when he was being touted for their managerial role. I hope this works out, obviously, but I would have much preferred we gave VP a full pre-season and let him loose on the Prem with a stronger squad. I still maintain, I cannot remember another Forest coach who was as tactically astute and able to make decisive in-game changes as VP. I fear we've gone and done another McLeish here.
Yes giving VP would have been the easy and comfortable way of progressing. In my view trophies aren't the whole measure of a manager, anyone that plays fantasy football will know the palace defense has been bankers for the last 2 seasons atleast. In terms of progressing the team he has got the best out of the players at his disposal, Eze, olisse etc and palace sold early and didn't always get top dollar and didn't always replace.

Look at villa, yes emery been successful getting them as high as he has and more importantly the value he has added to players. The selling of Rogers as allowed them to bring in 4 quality signings and he will most likely get the best out of them. What emery greatest achievement winning europa? Or the added revenue with europe every season, which will eventually increase revenue to comfortably compete at the top level. The trophies are and will be icing on the cake but the goal has to be making us competitive.

I saw him this evening downing tequila shots and motorboating Barbara down the nags head at bobbers mill

I saw him coming out of the Purple Mamba Club. I'm not prepared to say who was coming out of the club, him or me.
