Old Forest Tops

Timothy Pope

Just another roll of the Dyche
I have a fair few old Forest shirts, training tops etc that I really ought to get rid of.

Although I have no problem giving them away to charity shops - I'm not sure they would really sell. I remember a couple of years ago Rich Fisher took a load to some 3rd World country and gave them away to kids or something (my memory is very poor!).

Does anyone know of any charities that would do this?

I quite like the idea of my old Forest merchandise influencing some poor orphan to grow up as a Forest fan.

Get in touch with the club (amy.sutton@nottinghamforest.co.uk), they give a lot of their kit to the 'Balls to Poverty' charity.

There are quite a few Haiti appeals at the minute, it's not just food they need, also clothing too.

I've just sent off 2 bin bags of old stuff, not that any of them will fit into clothes for a 19st 6'4 bloke, probably use my old jeans as blankets but still . . . . . :)

Donate them to a photo shoot for a calendar called Ladies of the Forest, get lady Forest fans into the shirts wearing nothing else and then sell them outside the CG for charity. Genius. :bigboss:

the DEC appeal have explicitly requested that no Derby county shirts should be included in an clothing donations, there is no need for them to suffer any more than they already have!

No, seriously if you havn't donated already do it. What's a couple less pints at the weekend when this is going on.
