*A message to my fellow Vic Chandler Cornerers*:

---------------Slow the F*ck down..-----------

Were always miles ahead of the rest of the ground and frankly, it sounds shit......

I thank you.

Its because you lot are all 17, wearing hat's and Stone Island jackets (in the middle of summer) and p***ed on Thunderbird and 20/20. Your brains are all fried and you can't think straight, let alone sing in time! :bite:

:smug:

I had a ST up there once. Never ever again! I hated everything about it included the people sat round me. Its main stand or nothing.

Winnits, tell him!!!!!!! and Eddie, were not all 17, does my swede in.

lol Mum...... he stole my Grifter lol

I'm just trying to sloooooooow it down abit. no haters please, brap brap brap

Does that mean it was cold today?

Normaly the person wears grey cotton jogging bottoms. Hate people who go to football with them on.

I dont trust fans who choose to sit so far away from the pitch.

Same with the LTLF song too. Sounds like a garbled version sung by kids on speed. Is there a prize who can get to the end, mainly by missing out half of the main verse aswell.

Hats off to the Spurs who sing their Marching song, so slow and gradually building up. Quite impressive. Our Nottingham, Nottingham, Nottingham seems to last a maximum of 5 seconds then dissipates to silence or random angry abuse at one of our players. And that's when we are 3-0 up. To be fair the away games are a different kettle of fish with raucous support even when we're usually behind.

God bless the A block and all who sail in her!

However, this is a long running conversation ( sing your hearts out for the lads, mull of kintyre etc..). We used to do it so well, but it would be nice if we could 'do a spurs'. They weren't like this 10 years ago! Does success make you sing more? Or does it put more passion into the chants? We used to have a chant for every player, usually along the ding dong, ding dong lines!!

It worked! lol

The chant only worked when they played 'Mull of Kintyre' through the sound system. Any other time and it sounded like the Trent Remix version. lol

It's pretty difficult to 'sync' the one chant the rest of the ground bothers singing. Although the timing is off. The recorded version is too slow which is why Forest should invest in commissioning a local band to lay down a Forest-speed version.

But then my brain is frazzled on thunderbird and my grey trackie bottoms are chafing!

Pretty sure it has something to do with sound from the other parts of the ground taking x amount of time to travel to your ears therefore causing confusion and it just sounding like a mess. Like when the away team score you see their fans jumping up and then hear the cheers because light travels faster than sound

Yep, VCC is a dreadful place to sit. Kids talking together, wrestling and baiting the away fans all game. Mull of Kintyre seems like a race to see which stand can finish first.

I've sat there for nigh on ten years, and it's nothing like that near me. Maybe as with any stand there's a few bad zones to sit :)

Personally I love it :)

I'm sitting the VC Corner for the first time this year and have to say I much prefer it over my previous seat in the Trent End Upper. The looks people would get up there for shouting or daring to try and start a chant were bewildering. It is slowly morphing into the Clough Stand in terms of quietness and all the moaning that goes on. I did enjoy the view from my seat near the back of T2 though, i had a great view of the action all over the pitch.

The VC Corner isnt perfect and there are a few things that i find bloody annoying such as the constant 'stand up if you hate derby' chants, and some of the mindless chants to the away fans - 'Istanbul' against Leeds etc. Apart from that I'm quite pleased with my change of seat and the constant vocal support around me. Its good to be able to vocally support the team and have people nearby who are also joining in. Admittedly i'd prefer to be in A Block but wasn't prepared to pay the extra £100 a season cos i'm a cheapskate like that :)

I choose the Brian Clough upper as, despite the moaning old blokes, there's no chanting to speak of. I love watching football - not standing up every five minutes proclaiming my hatred of Derby.

I also managed to sit on an empty row in the second half, after being stuck next to a big fat bastard in the first!

I must admit, sat up there v Norwich and it was the worst I've ever heard it sang, Timing was out even between the row in front of me and the row behind me, Me and Rich just looked at each other.
