Official ticket office moan thread.

Another of my friends decided to come to the game today, so me and my other ST holder friend said we would swap seats so we could sit with him.

Decided to get to the ticket office early to avoid queuing, handed over the 2 ST and said we would like 3 together in UB if possible she said yes that shouldn't be problem she said.

She then proceeded to put in mine and my friends details into the computer, after 5 minutes she decided to call someone over to help her, she recieved help and continued to proceed with the order a few more minutes passed by and again she called the same person over and again he helped sort out whatever was up. Again she continued typing away on the computer. Again she called someone else over and she duly recieved some help, then she tells us that she can't find my details on the computer even though she has my ST in front of her with my client reference in.

Finnally she walks away and goes into the back office for about 5 minutes, and says sorry about that, charges us for the 1 ticket we are buying. The whole process took about 20 minutes to swap 2 seats.

We leave the TO only to find she has gave us tickets in BC upper.

I really don't know where they get them from but she must have only started yesterday such was her inability to do her job.

Its not just the ticket office, the whole commercial side of the club can be described as amatuerish at best. When my son was born I went into the clubshop to get something only to be met by a sea of pink. Last time I checked football was followed by more boys than girls.

They'd probably sold out of the boy's stuff for that very reason.

In all fairness, I've heard a lot worse stories about the ticket office than that. At least you got to sit together (maybe there wasn't 3 availiable seats in the bridgford upper?) and although it took a while and could certainly have been handled better, they are certainly much more efficient than they used to be! (Chelsea away anyone?)

I am assuming that there were no seats in the Upper Bridgeford as a simlair thing has happened to me before and thay just gave me some random seats in upper Brian Clough without telling me.

When I email them why do they always reply with a 6000 word essay that is all one paragraph?

I don't think the ticket office does a bad job bar a few isolated incidents. It's difficult to serve a customer base of probably as many as 50,000 (season ticket holders plus the rotating supply of casuals/people who can only attend odd games), especially when much of your dealing is compressed into a three-hour period in the build-up to a match. I've never encountered any major problems personally apart from the slowness. I'd like to see a better system for certain things as well, particularly when you're changing seat (why does it take so long?).

I went in today and got this smoking hot blond chick who was very helpful so the ticket office is a great in my opinion.
