This is a hard call because one of the things that might be keeping them going is the potential of some silverware at the end of the season.

I honestly don't know where I stand with it anymore.
Exactly my thoughts. If Murillo, MGW, Anderson etc are all sat at home or in the stands watching us get bundled out of the Europa by a team they ought to be able beat easily they’re just as likely to check out mentally altogether.

I don’t wanna hear it anymore, I don’t wanna hear it on this forum or anywhere, we do not have £100 million pound players, Anderson is not the second coming, he is crap and he can’t create anything, Murillo is not the next best thing, they are not, they are not these world beaters. I am so sick of hearing how good were supposed to be, these players are crap, im sick of going to the grounds and wondering what Forest are gonna show up. Today was so bad, and im so tired of it
If last season Nuno was sacked early and we changed every manager when we had a bad run , they wouldn't have finished 7th because there would be no stability in the club, just like this season.

Marinakis has to stand up and admit his poor decisions have impacted this club , players morale have been down to him and any quality player would struggle in a team with so many different managers , tactics and coaches in the same season.

People keep banging on about recruitment but equally we haven’t employed a decent manager this season and if Peraira is a good manager and jury’s out he’s had no time what so ever.

What I did like was that Pereira changed the formation early in second half as it was clear we were being dominated. Yes-it needed another defender on but it at least showed some flexibility and a manager being pro-active.
However I didn’t think the formation change was tactically sound. If you are being dominated in midfield you don’t got down to 2 centre mids.

Sadly as Thursday I was too ill to go to the game and had to watch it on Sky.

I’m normally a positive person but today in my view we looked and played like a relegated team.

We put no pressure on the ball and allowed Brighton far too much space. In possession we too frequently gave away the ball carelessly. It was reminiscent of Houghtons last game against ten men.

I exempt Gibbs-White from criticism as he put in his usual 100% effort. Too many of our ‘stars’ started poorly and got worse.

If these players demanded a change of manager and then performed like that then serious questions need to be asked. So much for the new manager bounce.

We are in a real relegation scrap and must play with commitment and intensity. The second Brighton goal came 42 seconds after our equaliser - you could see as they attacked down their left we were short-handed at left back. It was day-dreaming of the highest order from several players.

The consequences of relegation are catastrophic. Four years down the drain and starting from scratch (or worse).

This season should have been one of steady progression. We allowed our second best scorer and creator of goals to leave without replacement. We left ourselves vulnerable to lack of goals by failing to have adequate cover given our Europa League campaign. As we all know our recruitment has been largely poor.

In the January window our top priority was a goal scorer - look at the outcome.

We have ten games left to save our PL season and it’s down to the players who have to show the application necessary.

I have my own thoughts on managerial change s but health willing I will be there to give my full support to the manager and team - I only hope that they reciprocate.

FP, you ought to write and sell an instruction sheet on how to emotionally step back from your club. Because I for one would buy it!!
It's taken me 50 years MC.

I have a season ticket but ensure the games also include meeting with friends and family for something to eat and a few drinks. The sole purpose of the visit must never be the football
Same with away games. I try and pick Cities that have something going on as well as the football. We may stay over to go to a show or a concert for example.
If I don't go to an away game I don't watch it. With nothing else on it more than likely will be the main event of the day. This is very dangerous as the chances of depression are very high.

Under no circumstances just go to the game and go home again. You'll let those overpaid tossers get into your head and totally ruin your day.

Didn't he start his Wolves stint with 5 defeats, and then go on to win six consecutively. I see to recall this was earlier in the season than now. It does feel bleaker than it did during Cooper and Nuno's first seasons but we need to keep our nerve over the next few weeks.

We looked better, though, IMHO.

Something had to change.

I struggle to see how we failed to cope in the first 30-35 minutes. The opposition had Hinshelwood and Dad's Army in it. The front 6 didn't follow orders which is frustrating as they did last week against a far better midfield!

Forest are in safe hands financially speaking, so the actual money side of falling into the champ shouldn't bother us supporters, after all, we spunk 25 mill on McAtee right? prestige and status is what counts for EM and I'll guarantee any rebuild will be quick. Any player that wants out will be on their phones to their agents now. Mistakes are made everywhere, it's how he corrects things that really matters. Hopefully he'll see who's been having his pants down...I think we all know who

I missed the first 30 minutes as I was out walking but Steve Hodge was making the point immediately I switched the radio on that Hinshelwood was running the show in the first half.

Disappointing really as we are supposed to have world class midfielders.

Agreed,Chris-I adopted that philosophy during our near quarter century long absence from the top flight.

Agree.

Anderson (saviour of England & £100m player) & Sangare getting embarrassed by a young lad & an OAP is unforgivable.

Even Murillo & Williams were pathetic today.

Absolute dossers.

I don't think Anderson has looked good for weeks, since before Christmas for sure. Doesn't help that he never gets a rest.

Williams was unusually poor, Netz did ok in his place and for me plays if we're going for wing backs.

I think they care, a good few are trying too hard at times and don't pause and wait, but commit to passes and tackles. Too few are truly brave in possession either. VP has a job on his hands.
