Well, might as well do it as it's only going to be one game.

Venue: The Etihad Stadium, Manchester
TV Channel: TNT Sports 4
Manchester City league form (last 5): DWWWW
Nottingham Forest form (last 5): DLDLL (sorry for the reminder)

Prediction...4-0 to Cheaty...

...best of luck, everyone.

Just keep them to single figures lads. That's all we ask.

And if you do turn up and decide to put a shift in after todays debacle then you want to take a serious look at yourselves in the mirror Thursday morning.

Can’t see anything but us getting hammered. At least we get a decent rest after this one but I’d still rotate heavily and rest key players.

Sels
Cunha Milenkovic Murillo
Aina Yates Dominguez Netz
Mcatee N’Doye

That's just it. They'll probably all put in 100% effort and get very narrowly beaten; the same level of effort that would have seen us win today.

We absolutely cannot do that. Waving a white flag on a game, when you’re in our position, before you’ve started is absolutely unforgivable and we’d rightly get torn into by anyone and everyone for doing it. Should we have waved the white flag going to Anfield?

As unlikely as it is to get anything on Wednesday we have to play our best team and see if we can cause a shock, especially with a long FA Cup break to follow. Throwing the game on Wednesday would be the lowest moment of the season. Thankfully the club have more self respect than that.

As things stand in the Arsenal game it means that if City beat us by three goals they'll go top. We're a rabbit hanging out in front of the pack of dogs.

Agreed. By all means switch players if they're struggling with form and/or fitness but not changing the side en masse in a league game.

From now until May the first XI need to be playing as much Premier League minutes as they possibly can with the likes of Yates and Dominguez thrown in a bit. I said it in another thread but I'd be advocating a change in formation now so it would also probably see a spell for Hutchinson on the bench which isn't the worst thing.

It's harsh but ultimately the more minutes the likes of Bakwa, Ndoye, Lucca etc play in the league the more likely we'll be playing Preston and Stoke next season.

Chuck the shit players on in Europe and let them stink the place out in that.

Anyone remember the Good Friday game at Maine Road in 1971 when we beat City 3-1 with 2 goals from Duncan McKenzie?

Easy meat but we went down the following season regardless.
We didn’t go to away games in those days and I’d not long graduated from going to see the reserves with my dad to joining him and my brother at first team games, but I do remember the occasion, partly because we weren’t in the habit of winning games (never mind scoring three times in one game) and partly because I was pleased McKenzie had scored twice as he was a favourite of mine in the reserves.
