Just to make sure: yes, I'm proud of the team to reach the semis. Yes, we won against quite strong team with a history of being one of the greatest. Yes, we are as high in Europe as we haven't been for more than 30 years.
Yet at the same time I'm mentally exhausted to the point of not being able to feel anything similar to joy or happiness and it's not because of this game, it's because of this whole season of unbelievable chaos, our owner being almost up there with the orange clown when it comes to knee jerk reactions and unpredictable deeds, getting rid of Nuno, who is more and more likely to become West Ham saviour at our expense.
They say it's the hope that kills you and it's exactly how I feel watching most of our games, we start brightly, we turn to shit, we lose or draw when it's obvious we were perfectly capable of not being so utterly bad. We have a probably one of the most important games in recent history on Sunday, if we won't win we are as good as down in the Championship and VP runs MGW into the ground, the only player that can do some magic at times even though he can also be very frustrating sometimes. And we're without Anderson on Sunday too, this lad is devastated right now and he need time with his family, so we're probably bound to see the same pair of Sangare and Dominguez in the midfield. We're complaing about Sangare and how he slows play and how lacks any flair, well, I don't want to look for things that are not there but for the most part of the last season when we were good Sangare was injured, when he got back we were worse, I don't know, maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it was an effect of our squad lacking depth to compete throughout the whole season, but I have my doubts about him and his role in our spectacular change for the worse.
So, yes, I'm not really able to celebrate as much as I should. VP looked for a moment like someone with some fresh ideas, but his decision border on stupidity and insanity at times, he seems to be using some kind of wheel of fortune to decide the starting tactics, starting eleven and the worst part of it, subs and game management.
