Character team building performance in every way
This squad of players have had 4 managers and 4 sets of different coaches to contend with and they’ve managed to get themselves into this position….. it’s remarkable.

You can see the players after the game with supporters, absolutely tremendous support tonight. I was in TE upper and I don’t think I’ve ever heard MOK sang so loudly.

If we had strikers we would be devastating
EM promised success, fair ****s it’s coming

The first time in about 25 years I've ever heard MOK sung at the same time by everyone in all parts of the ground and it made a massive difference

Just had to share this from the Spurs forum who are rejoicing about our injuries but bemoan our good luck:

  •

Forest have been lucky tonight. Porto have hit the woodwork twice in the second half, and Forest are only winning because of a huge deflection.

We never see that luck for us, haven't all season.
It's like a fcuking magic spell. Never seen anything like it.

and:
Ooh Chris Wood injured

The absolute tragedy that we are happy about Chris f***ing Wood being injured in order to help us stave off relegation FML

Villa are chasing champions league but may take the risk of playing a full strength side, we've got injury woes and panic about staying up. If they win this they get champions league anyway so may just go all out now they are in the semis, we have the opposite problem.

Any chance we can get that Chelsea game moved back to the Sunday seems unfair we have to okay Monday at 3pm then Villa away in the Thursday? Sunday 2pm seems a lot fairer

Well put. Watching a Forest game is like an LSD trip, there are moments of delirious joy, then it all goes a bit weird and you go on a downer hoping it ends soon.
I once watched a Forest game while tripping. Windy, playing Boro who were running away with the second division (c 1974?) Every time either keeper took a goal kick, the wind sent it out for a throw-in.

Allende had been assassinated by the CIA in Chile and political prisoners were being held in football stadiums. Some loud gammon was bellowing away nearby, and I had a flash of him as a commandant and the crowd as prisoners, but it passed.

As we walked out into a gorgeous sunset over the Trent, I found it hard to believe the way Forest had blown away the league leaders. "4-1!" I said.

My mate pointed out it was actually 5-1 - I'd missed a Forest goal somewhere.

Another bunch of dirty, cheating pricks seen off.

Give the the boys few days off, they were knackered at the end. Or maybe have them in watching videos of how to attack.

Cracking effort though.
Amazes me that because Sangare had a miss placed pass… he therefore had a crap game lol
Yes people are entitled to opinions but I will not have Sangare dissed for anything… he’s a tremendous high quality player, we’re lucky to have him

Cunha was the real positive tonight -- what a class player he's going to be.
But God almighty how bad is Bakwa? That run where he got into the box and then just gave up was gobsmacking.
It was odd. For some reason he lacks any willingness to do the final bit, always looking for another to help him. That’s a fundamental problem and god knows why that’s not being dealt with. He can carry the ball, and starting to find areas to run with the ball.. funny enough though, I’d keep playing him. He can’t hide then can he

Probably will have to play him soon with Ndoye being so bad right now

Absolutely brilliant to make it through, sour note is our stewarding again, since when has it not been allowed to bang on the back of the stand to help the atmosphere carry? I despise modern football fans who are willing to grass on their own for trying to drag the team we all support over the line

I feel like we tried to win first half then coasted 2nd half; the fact we didn't make loads of subs was telling as to the pace of the game. Wasn't pretty but well managed. Not gonna lose sleep over our attacking play though I do seriously long to see Taiwo, he brings the joy.

Very late in the game the keeper was way off his line he has to be shooting from where he was with an open goal and yet he choose not to shoot - he has next to zero confidence right now.

We used all of our subs by the 70th minute.

Had it not been for the injury enforced subs we definitely would have brought one or two of the midfielders off instead.
