I've not even mentioned Cooper, but if that's what you see from my query about the logic behind potentially binning off a proven Championship level manager for one who hasn't even managed in Britain, then you do you chap.
It must have been a hunch Alf :ROFLMAO:

I'm just struggling to understand why were discussing something the club might do wrong (in your eyes), without actual evidence that its going to.

Isn't it a little bit pointless at this stage?

Not quite.

Moved to a 442 diamond after the Leicester gubbing which morphed into a flat 433 to accommodate Shelvey (lol) and after that was find wanting we settled mostly on the 3421 'box' formation which we saw the season out with.

3412: Unstructured and unsuccessful
442 diamond: Structured and successful.
433: Unstructured and unsuccessful
3421 box: structured and successful.

There's a lesson in there somewhere...
I'm happy to be corrected.

I'm discussing it in relation to the link to a potential new manager which was posted earlier today.

It's a football forum, and when people post subjects others tend to discuss them.

True story.

If it's pointless or not is an entirely different debate lol.

Apologies for my last comment - I have removed it.

I think we have the players to be able to adapt to both formations depending on who we play. For me despite the result it was the right formation against City - we should revert back to 4 at the back against Sheffield - we need to win the midfield battle.
Make no mistake Sheffield will do everything in their power to take us down with them

Got to agree with that.

That the midfield box is revolutionary

"Nottingham Forest Are Premier League"
The Nuno Espirito Santo Rolling Scorecard 23/24 edition

Forest 0-2 Man. City

A mixed performance many fans will have walked away from thinking we should have got something.

Despite offering promise against more recently illustrious visitors and putting competitive in-play stats on the board, Forest failed to maintain composure at every single critical moment going forward and failed to maintain basic concentrations at a key point defensively.

Some of the individual performances were decent, but much more end product will be required collectively in terms of end product for the remaining fixtures. Plenty of encouraging elements here, but Forest will have to replicate the same attitude next up in what is likely to be the biggest battle faced since before PL promotion.

Nuno cards a bogey to slip back to +5 on The Rolling Scorecard.

Trend (last 6 games): D, W, l, D, l, L.
