He probably will get the sack but equally I've no idea who else they bring in.

Gary O'Neill? :D Heard he was off to Strasbourg in Rosenior's wake.

Did anyone else think something's not quite right with him, watching the game tonight?

He's always been feisty on the touchline, but some of his reactions tonight looked like someone deeply frustrated with life in general. I don't know, maybe it was my imagination, but he seemed different.

Pressure on these managers is so big

Possibility he loses his job for the second time in what, 5 months?

That's not nice for anyone.. In any profession

Am I right in thinking his backroom team isnt there with him? It's always him on his own. Seems a little sad

Going against the grain in this forum but I personally don't hate Nuno, I think he gave us so many great memories ending ultimately in a European place, something which we might not get again for a while.

So for whatever reason things ended like they did, he extended his contract before the disagreement with Edu, you cannot predict the future, do you really know how you are going to get on with someone? Having had a side punching above their weight, missing out on CL by a point, and some random comes in and overrules you over a cheap addition.

Wish him no ill, it's one of those things in life, he gave us a lot, we move on, he moves on.

I'm starting to think that he might have some mental health issue that's surfaced. He appears to be an extremely withdrawn individual in life and I don't think that's helping him here.

I do find the vitriol against him well over the top. He left badly, but taking us back to Europe was a huge achievement that far outweighs it for me.
He did his best to undermine what should’ve been a season of joy. There’s been very few moments of that and if the gods weren’t smiling on us tonight we’d be staring at the prospect of championship football next season. (And we’re not out the woods yet).

I have no sympathy at all for him. He chose to completely ruin what should have been an enjoyable season for us through bizzare and selfish antics.

If he looks sad on the touchline at West Ham, good, we are in a battle with them to stay up. He was still grinning through his fake teeth pre match and giving his usual slimey, non committal interview (probably knows he getting sacked)

I get the impression deep down he doesn't care that much, he will be happy with the pay off whilst looking for the next big money opportunity.

He clearly didn't behave well - but having seen how this season has panned out with the fancy expensive new squad, there's no doubt he had a point. Add to that the public courting of an out of work manager and I think it becomes obvious that there are two sides to this story.

I don't hate him, I feel the bitterness and sadness of a jilted lover if I'm honest. I wish we could rewind to June 1 and stand at the gates to the WFCG and say to the suave stranger "what was the name again? Edoo? Sorry mate, no one with that name on my list".

His pre match interview was even more curt than normal. Something definitely isn't right there, he nearly looked terrified in his eyes, one word answers. Time to lay off him. He's gone and we should just leave him be now. He won't be at West Ham much longer either.

It’s mad. He took us from relegation favourites to the brink of the champions league, deserves a lot more respect
He lost any respect I had for him when he signed a new contract then engineered his own sacking. f*** him.
(Although I do share other posters’ views that he appears to have some mental health issues).

Engineered his own sacking or disrespected and pushed out by the owners when they publicly started courting the gold plated legend that is Ange Postecoglu? Depends on your perspective I guess.

We don't know all the facts, but the facts we do have show the club were as dismissive as him, if not more so, than he was of the club.

For those who still hold it against Nuno for acting like he did, you also need to hold the club to the same standard.

Personally I choose to forgive him, thank him for the memories, and hope the club can learn from the debacle so we don't repeat it again.

I'm less sympathetic because Nuno couldn't wait to go and manage at that club and was unbending in trying to work through matters with us as he knew he had other options.

The hammers have badly invested over the years, the board have let down a succession of managers and the fans have driven out the only one that got them silverware because he plays similair football to Nuno. It never looked to be a good fit and is proving so.

I think seeing him on the touchline he was a mixture of overly aggressive and extremely fearful so as a person I do feel sad that another person is clearly suffering from stress but still, its choices he made.

He may have fallen out with Edu but the latter is on borrowed time as well, the signings he forced through haven't really been super successful. The players Nuno kicked off about us signing though walk into that West Ham Team.

It was just frustrating that nobody could put their big boy pants on and realise we were on to a good thing here. Nuno included, he rightly had concerns about our transfer business with an added sprinkle of nepotism in there too with wanting Mendes clients. Not sure it needed to come to a head in the way it did though from the outside looking in.

He seems to have pioneered a new way of getting yourself sacked though, having seen it 3 times this season now.

I wish him the best and he's clearly struggling mentally currently but he does seem to have put the mockers on his own managerial career, in the premier league at least.
