Looks all set then and kinda looked inevitable that this would be where we ended up....

I don't bear Nuno any ill will despite being Cooper in, and truth be told if he wins more than he loses ill probably get to love him too but for now I just feel a bit sad that our owner deems what looks like from the cynical outside to move in a compliant Mendes client rather than working with and being challenged by someone that seemed to want to do it for the right reasons but perhaps differed in how to get there with the owners massively.

I don't want to sound too dramatic about the whole scenario but what sprung to my mind was the sliding doors moment that Derby had in falling out with a headstrong manager that somehow ended up leading to our gloriest days and many years of success because their board got too ahead of themselves and in fact just resulted in them achieving more bankruptcies than trophies.

I'm hoping that we are more doing a Brighton manoeuvre moving from Hughton to Potter but its probably worth noting that performances and attainment didn't immediately take effect there. If Nuno is coming in then he's going to need time and a fair crack at it, just feels odd to be talking about it at all in truth.
