Nugent to Preston?

Not sure how reliable these things are but I just spotted this on the BBC's Transfer Deadline Day page:

From celaycock on 606: "DRAMA! Forget rumours about Nottingham Forest - former Preston North End striker David Nugent is back at Deepdale. He's just driven through the car park to his old space and quickly hopped out, with a big smile on his face. This is it, North End fans. This is it."

This is my first Forest Transfers thread by the way so be nice.

Maybe he left his shinpads there from before and someone finally found them.

I doubt we'll be in for another striker now that it seems Earnshaw is staying. I imagine we made enquires, but I’m not worried if we miss out. Earnshaw is twice the player, and if Davies blocked the move as is being reported, I imagine we will start to see him back at his best. He needs to be wanted!

Also on BBC transfer rumours

1111: If cricket umpiring great David Shepherd could see this time, he'd be hopping mad... Anyway, one particular 606er reckons former Bristol Rovers and Nottingham Forest striker Junior Agogo is agogoing to join Southampton today.

Also Jonathan Stevenson trying to help Derby out

1115: Now I'm not being deliberately naughty, but I wonder if any Premier League managers saw Derby boss Nigel Clough's comments about Kris Commons after he was hauled off at half-time in the 3-2 defeat at Forest on Saturday? Clough said this: "He tried to nutmeg somebody in his own half, away from home, in the 44th minute when we were 2-0 down, and then having lost the ball, he just stood still and watched it. That's why we replaced him." Hmm. Worth a bid, perhaps?

1125: Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery has moved to deny claims he already has a deal in place to join Real Madrid next summer. Meanwhile, we're hearing things about Tottenham's Gareth Bale...

1157: Haha, one of the finest players of all time was too 'wooden' for Spurs and Newcastle. Brilliant. Meanwhile, to follow up on that Gareth Bale chat, the Spurs man has been linked with Birmingham, QPR and Forest. I wonder if the Blues know he's never won a Premier League game?
