I still vividly remember seeing him on TOTP in '74 singing 'I'm A Believer'.

Sadly never made it myself. The nominated driver let us down he had to take his neighbour to the hospital. I will go to Louth again soon though it's a lovely town with some great pubs and restaurants. Shame our last bus from there is 3pm.

I don't go on the front row anymore, not since I went to see a play "Spring Awakening" by Frederick Wedekind at the Nottingham Playhouse, taking my then girlfriend with me. I won't go into the details, but anyone who knows the play, or went to that production will confirm, sitting close to the stage for one particular scen was not recommended.
