argh for some reason i cant stand franz ferdinand they just iritate me.
i bought feeder - confort in sound the other weekend for a fiver, and it is very good and made me think why the hell i didnt buy it earlier ??? and they have a new one out 31st january i think?

I feel the same way about Feeder :) My old housemate was into them - all their songs sounded the same.

Franz aren't particularly groundbreaking, but I quite like it :)

I'm with Ant on this one. I find FF dull and uninventive, not to mention that they all look like Maths teachers. Feeder on the other hand are a great band, I have been a fan ever since hearing Sweet 16 on Gran Turismo. Odd imo that such a good (and yet marketable) band didnt become popular until their 4th album.

Yeah i just find franz ferdinand really irritating, especially take me out.
And up for 5 brits that must be a joke, they are not bad but they are not that good.
then again i do live in the past with half of my music ::)

Indeed, if you look at their nominations with a fair eye as regards to the categories, then they shouldnt win too many. Eg, best live act (of the nominees) has to be Muse..

While Feeders best album (imo) is Swim, which is constantly overlooked :(

I'm more of a fan of "Yesterday Went Too Soon".

On the subject of music, anyone into Interpol at the moment? A bit like Placebo doing covers of the Killers in my opinion. Even though they've been around longer than the Killers.

That said, I think Take me out (the full albulm version) was my favourite song of last year.

Winnits - was it not Me who first recommended The Killers to you.

Hot Fuss is the greatest Album of last year (Shut up Scaggeh if you mention The Lanes or The Streets or the Crossroads).

Next year......I'll let you know.....

I haven't bought franz ferdinands album, but the singles i have (take me out, this fire) i liked.

That said, i bought Mary by the Scissor Sisters. Quite a diverse taste i have 8)
