What was wrong with Deepdale? Never been but it looks fairly descent to me.

I really didn't like it at all! Had that horrible plastic dead feeling to it.

But yes from the outside i thought it all looked rather nice until taking my seat.

Give me glanford park, Oakwell and London Road every other week thankyou.

It's a funny game.

Some on here think Wes was our best player last season, some think he shouldn't get a starting place.

I'm glad BD agrees with me on that.

Youth Team
Surprised no-ones mentioned Reading for best home game. First half was the best football we played all season, and the second half Lee Camp kept them out on his own (as well as giving it one of the best cheer leading performances I've seen).

It's Baggio

John Robertson
Best Player: Probably Morgan, just. Wilson, Camp, Gunter, Cohen not far behind.

Worst Player: Adebola. Old, slow, shit.

Most Improved: I didn't think he was as bad as some made out last year but Wilson has been magnificent this year.

Best Signing: Camp, for the influence he has over the defence and the fact he cost £100k. Ridiculously good value.

Worst Signing: Adebola, yeah he was free but I bet he's on a sizeable salary.

Best Home game: Probably Leicester, they were above us and we dismantled them, comprehensively.

Worst Home game: Blackpool. So much hope, a brilliant atmosphere and a great start shattered after the eventual collapse.

Best away game: West Brom, scintillating - Forest 09/10 at their best. Relentless with and without the ball.

Worst away game: Derby. It ended the run, we were flat and were beaten by a side that relied solely on set pieces.

Best Stadium: Hillsborough, dunno why but I've always liked it. The Sun was out too.

Worst Stadium: Ricoh, a plastic bowl that takes ages to walk around because of the stupid complex that's joined on to it, surrounded by loads of car parks and a Tesco.

Next Season expectation: A strong tilt at the top two places.

Mist Rolling In...

First Team Squad
Best Player: Morgan

Worst Player: McGoldrick, but I think he'll get better if given the chance.

Most Improved: Wilson

Best Signing: Gunter

Worst Signing: At the moment, McGoldrick, but as above, should improve.

Best Home game: Leicester

Worst Home game: Blackpool play-off game.

Best away game: West Brom

Worst away game: Leicester

Best Stadium: St. James Park or Bramall Lane

Worst Stadium: Vicarage Road

Next Season expectation: Same again please, top 6.

how can people have their worst player as Adebola then their worst signing as Mcgoldrick? If Adebola was the worst player in the team over the season then surely he would have to be the worst signing as well? or am I just being a prat?

I guess they're weighting effectiveness against cost... £1m is a lot of cash, but then I would suggest that Goldie - despite limited pitch time - has contributed more to our points tally with a couple of critical goals.

He needs a run in the team for me, which is why I didn't include him in any of the negative categories.

Collymore!

Jack Armstrong
Best Player: Earnshaw (Always reliable whenever called upon to be top-class)

Worst Player: McGoldrick (Bad season for £1m)

Most Improved: Morgan (Remember back to League 1 days - wow what a difference)

Best Signing: Camp (100k!!!)

Worst Signing: McGoldrick, closely followed by Lynch (why buy him if your not gonna play him)

Best Home game: QPR (Probably the last time we looked 'unstopable')

Worst Home game: Blackpool (The 4th Defeat)

Best away game: West Brom

Worst away game: Derby

Best Stadium: Newcastle

Worst Stadium: S****horpe

Next Season expectation: Safe Mid-table

I rate him. Goldie I mean not Adebola. He just needs some more experience and this can only be gained with time on the pitch.
