My two netball playing daughters are hyped about forest fielding a team

Ouch. That's a hell of a lot of money to be charging kids for a few training sessions.

Bigger than Ladies Hockey?
I am surprised.
Mrs S has been forced to retire this year because of a knee injury (torn cartilage, torn medial ligament, and degradation of the knee cap and thigh bone end), but was a tidy player up until then.
She did have difficulty finding a club when we moved up here from Dorset.

£400 for training and tournaments doesn't sound a lot to me? Depends how many hours worth of training it is really. If it works out £5-10 a session, that's quite normal.

Does netball income could towards PSR calculations?

Bin VAR!
It's for 1 session each week for 6 weeks so £65 a session

Also says Nov - June, is the charge to cover the whole period ie 6 weeks training then tournament x 4?

Not very clear to me?

I would imagine that the netball part would be a stand-alone business unless there is some wrangle where the cost can be deductable but with the revenue allowed towards PSR.

I'll find out soon. My Mrs best mate daughter is going as she was previously travelling to Loughborough from Chesterfield for hers.

Surely the 6 week training "blocks" suggests there are more than one? Especially between November and June. There's time for one block up to Christmas and at least two if not three blocks afterwards.

That would be my reading of it.

Haven't they got a new hone too?

Hopefully they go from strength to strength.

Looking forward to finally signing as a Forest player myself, after decades of hoping, just as soon as they announce an official NFFC beer pong team...

I watched a bit of it on Sky yesterday as they gave the tournament yesterday and the start of the league next week the full treatment.

As has been said, our girls did jolly well as a new team in the league.

Kids talked me into taking them to see Forest netball club in London. Warned them if I get bored I’m singing “Thomas Tuchel what a w**ker”
