Just out of interest to see how we all like the way the badge is designed. I must admit, as an anniversary edition I love the badge with the 2 venues we won it. top marks to the designers, but purely for anniversary reasons.

I think the European cups should be remembered on the shirt, not hidden on the sleeves but where they currently reside. If I was the venues on the shirt of another team it would stink of desperation to hold onto those days and rub salt in everyones face. Whereas the stars show a subtlety (sp ?) that we have, but we remember them in our own ways.

I do think their should be stars on the sleeve, But the badge is superb and should stay the same.

I've gone for the tree on it's own.

I meant to vote for the tree with the stars on the sleeves.

but for this season i do feel we should keep the anniversary badge

I like the current badge but when we win the champions league in 2012 isn't it going to look a little over crowded?

yes it would, that's why we should keep it for this season only and then revert to the original tree with stars on the sleeve

We should go back to the robin hood motif we had ages and ages ago, thus rendering the sinister mascot a bit more relevant.

Amen. The venues almost seem like we are consigned to the fact we wont be that great ever again ! Maybe we won't but there's no need to seal it ! The stars will do me fine as a subtle reminder. Or we could allways add the FA cups as Man Cuty seem to lol !

I like the circular writing, I think it completes the badge, rather than having the tree and the stars alone.

I'd like us to add a colour that bares no relation to the club, like purple, and a letter of the alphabet inserted into the middle of the crest at random, say an H or something.

Otherwise, I'd just leave it as it is.

I really really hate the names around the badge, I didn't mind it fo a one off last year but having it again this season has wound me up a little.

It really does seem like we're desperately trying to cling on to memories of happier times. The stars are nice as it is a bit classier and is almost becoming a traditional or "done" thing around Europe so I have no issues with this.

I'd have the badge similar to two years ago with the stars above or below the emblem.

Listing the venues and year is nice as a commemorative badge but definitely wouldn't want them to stay. Would be similiar to having a tattoo of an ex girlfriends name.

Love the stars being visible on the badge though. Subtle, everyone knows what they mean.
