Not having a reserve team

I think the fact that we no longer have a reserve team is hampering our chances of promotion. Players like Garner, Mcgugan, Chambers and Mcgoldrick would all surely benefit from playing some regular football, then when being asked to step into the starting eleven as was the case with Garner at Coventry and Mcgugan at Doncaster they would i am sure have performed much better instead of being withdrawn after a bad performance and looking like they are lacking match fitness. I didn't agree with the decision to dismantle the reserves at the time but was under the impression that we would be playing many friendly games against stronger teams but unless i have missed something this as rarely been the case.

Ooh, that's an interesting one. I don't think it matters really, I've seen reserve football and it's really not competitive - and we don't really have a suitably sized squad for it.

perhaps just more practice matches needed then but always get the feeling fitness is a key thing under the new management and sure they are on top of it.

Mark Arthur is about as useful as a one legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen lake.

So the cat gradually scratches away the ice on the lake with its paw. Then when it has made sufficient depth it rolls the turd into the hole and the turd bobs down underwater. The cat is therefore successful.

As is Mark Arthur. As are Forest.
