Noni Madueke

I don't mind Madueke, and for the right price I'd be interested. Not sure Id put him at the same tier as Elanga though price wise, who is becoming that all across the front line man we've craved in recent years. 6 more goal involvements (doesn't sound a lot but it's an increase of more than 50% on Madueke) and plays centrally too.

If Tony is currently 50m I've got Madueke at 40 tops. I'd be interested at 30 perhaps. I think there's probably better out there...

I agree, he could kind of go either way for me. That 30m range seems to be the current price you snag those players at. I see quite a bit of risk spending more here.

If CHO is another one not interested in signing a new deal. Do Chelsea fancy doing a bit of a workaround?

I know he's available, I think the fee is around £50M though. I really like him and I've always felt he was a threat against us but that's a lot of money in his position. It's money I think we would be better off spending towards a quality CM and striker.

I think 50 is fair for him--he's certainly a good player. But I do agree that spending the money elsewhere is wiser. Depending what happens with MGW, it may be workable. The only problem when dealing with Chelsea is you know they will start talking about Murillo.

They're looking to sign Ekitike for 100mil euros. I don't think Madueke is going to make their bench if they sign him, Gittens with what they already have.

As a defender I used to love wingers who pissed about with it. The forward has already made their run and now has to do it again only this time you know where they're going and it's loads slower.
Yep they’ve lost all their momentum and the threat has been reduced massively. You should watch non league, they absolutely get the basics right by crossing into the box quickly.. just that the stats suggest it’s not a very effective tactic because the finishers aren’t there

£50m is probably a fair price in the current market, but I think we're too early in our development to be paying it. As a club we need to continue focusing on value signings that are worth more than we pay. That's how a club like ours creates sufficient strength to survive long term in this league.

Personally think Madueke would thrive the way we hit teams quickly. He ****s about so much cos Enzo likes his team in possession.

Yeah - I think he'd do a good job for us but can't see that there's even a link, never mind the cash side. Has there been anything reported?

Good player, but zero chance he's coming here. The fee they'd demand would be way too high.
I guess it depends how the negotiators can structure any deal to suit all parties and how many hotels Ch***** have left to sell to themselves?
