Due to engineering work there will be no trains running from Derby to Nottingham for the Rams' away game at Forest on Saturday 29 August.
The engineering work will be running from 29 August until Monday 31 August.

Therefore, Rams fans attending the game are being encouraged to either book a spot on the Roadrider - which leaves at 11am priced at £12 per person - or make alternative travel arrangements.

lol £12!
Our was like 8£ official and on heanor bus it was like 4/5£

Isn't Red Arrow about £5 return? Although I guess they only go when they're scheduled, they wouldn't travel in convoy.

indeed, zigzag ticket is 4.60 and that covers red arrow however it means walking and or getting a bus into town as well.

i laugh if they all end up on railway replacement coaches not realising.

broadmarsh bus station will be interesting after 3pm then, this must be a nightmare for the police though a 1pm kick off the trains off 4-5k sheep all trying to get down the a52 on busses in cars ect, many will be on the same busses as some forest fans. can see a fair bit of trouble before and after this one and maybe delayed kick off

I guess that's why they are encouraging them to go on the special buses they're laying on rather than using public transport. So long as they're sensible they should be fine on the regular buses.

£12 is extortionate for a bus from Derby to the City Ground, though.
