Right it's getting towards the business end of the season and all this tinkering round with the side needs to stop...We need some continuity back in the team, How Dex and Earnie were left out the weekend was disgusting and I don't care about what Billy has done so far (Im a big fan) he made a right mess of the team Saturday and it showed big time....6 mill worth of top quality strikers(best 2 in the league) sat on the bench and instead we play a bouncer from the southbank and a player that hasn't played upfront in god knows how long up top!, Not only that but he takes off arguably our most creative player and brings 2 of the most overrated players we currently have in the squad in McGoldrick and McCleary when were chasing the game...who on here could honestly say they would've made same change?.
I feel the Derby loss has really affected Billy deeply...there wasn't much that needed fixing but he's gone mad and made baffling change after baffling change.
If we play what we all know as our strongest line-up:

Camp
Gunter
Wilson
Morgan
Perch
Cohen
Mckenna
Majewski
Anderson
Blackstock
Earnshaw

If we play that for the remainder fitness permitting we will get back on track I have no doubt...Most other teams in the league would kill for that (especially the top 2).
We have now seen enough of the squad players to know there not good enough to start...We don't wanna blow what we have achieved so far, But Billy' arrogance and stubbornness could derail us...lets hope he gets back on track (If anyone's lost there head its him).
Good support tomorrow night folks could be a very tense night...and very tough fixtures upcoming...this is where we'll see what were made of.

His all round demeanour at present is a bit strange I feel, That whole kneeing crap and the fallout afterwards was very childish he should've said his bit then moved on but he comes off looking like the fool of the incident.
Basically baiting the fans with the comments we should realise without "Billy Davies" (3rd person talk is always a sign of self importance) we would be playing league one football...Ok fair enough that's in the past concentrate on the job at hand, the fans are entitled to disagree with his changes...It's ok for him to have a go at us but when given a little back he doesn't like it.
As I said I'm right behind him (ooh-er missus) but he has got a reputation of being a drama queen and of loving the publicity....Stop moaning about the panel (it was there when he took the job) and stop moaning about the fans...get on with it.

Take your point but he was playing a similar system with like for like players...How come Garner and Lewis suddenly get a game of late when he hasn't fancied them all year....same said with tyson up top...he said himself that tyse isn't a striker.
Personally i would start with dex and earnie up top every game...were you happy with the line up saturday?

I knew I'd forget someone but yes, meant to include Cohen.

I forgot him as I was pondering over whether he'd be a defender or midfielder.

Yeah OK there's 1 or 2 changes you could make but i bet most peoples sides would include Dex and Earnie starting....to not even bring them on when chasing a game is criminal, as i said i bet there manager and defenders were chuffed to bits when they saw the starting 11...straight away they get a lift, Adebola just isn't good enough to start.
Although we've had a good season i for one have said all along we should always start with the 2 mentioned strikers...maybe some of our draws could've been even better.
In my opinion the personnel changes made in the last couple of games haven't worked and have contributed to the results regardless of our season so far...doesn't mean i think Billy is a bad manager far from it but you have to admit from the derby game onwards he's made some strange decisions.
Just because someone has excelled in the past doesn't mean there absolved from criticism in the present and future.

Football is now a squad game. It's no longer about picking your best eleven week in week out and sticking ridgidly to a system. The teams who do well are the ones who keep their best players fresh for when they need to be.

I get the sense he's starting to rest players in this period where if we lose a couple its not the end of the world. Playoffs were always the goal, our squad isn't big enough for automatics. Rotating and leaving earnie and ando out will mean this are still fresh and firing for the playoffs. I bet the last 3/4 games he sticks woth his strongest team to build a head of steam

Im starting to wonder if what he needs is a move, even if only on loan- to give himself a bit of a quick start. He needs regular football, and to hit a real decent run of form. Hes not doing it here, as hes not getting into the side and when he does- hes nothing more than a passenger.

He needs that real deterimination that he seems to almost completely lack.

We are currently in the middle of going through a phase of playing 5 games in 15 days,playings are getting tired and need rest.We have also lost Shorey so have had to reshuffle the pack. We will have a settled side again in a couple of weeks I'm sure and start winning again cutting the mass hysteria banging about on this forum!

Also I think with Billy rotating players for most games it throws off the opposition and all close future oppositions. So if Forest are playing against team A in a few weeks, then Team A will send their scouts to have a look at a couple of games of ours to see how we play. We if we play different formations and players for both of those games, what is that gonna do for his scouting report?

How about no i don't stop!....I have a right to disagree with some of his team choices as being a season ticket holder i deserve the right to voice my opinion, Just because we've had a very good season so far doesn't mean i can't be a critic when he gets it wrong(also the first to give credit, i was one saying give him time when alot of fans wouldn't give him the time of day), Billy has had a pop at us many a time this season so he's man enough to take a little back.
As i said im right behind the side and billy but i have found some of his decisions lately a little perplexing which im entitled to....Bet you were one having a pop at the panel? yet they signed 9 players at the seasons start but now there shit cos we didn't sign various players who went to prem sides...hypocritical some might say?

i don't belive in all this players are getting tired ffs they are professional footballers some people even call them altheletes, they play 3 games a week at the most so if they are tired they really shouldn't be a professional football player
for me you have to play your stongest side every game, Earnie is one of the best strikers at this level and if fit should be starting every game, yes he might not do anything for 89mins but then one moment of magic is all it takes

Ok then folks we played the line-up i believe we should be playing week in week out and we have one of our best performances in a long while...great win against a tough side...and a new record to boot.
were all entitled to opinions and tonight's showing vindicated my thoughts...that is our best side by far and the side that will push us forward now.
Help with picking up my toys is not needed well n truly back in my pram lol...
