Chelsea willing to sell, doesn't break the wage structure 100k/w, should be available with the 40-55m range.
Could do a lot worse. Long season.

Note: Absolutely no rumour or whisper heard, just a personal thought.

Too expensive and wastes a load of chances which we cannot afford.

On his day he is fine but most days he tends to be very selfish taking a very outside chance for himself instead of making the pass to the unmarked team mate.
Prefer we left him in London, in fact hope his name is not mentioned in our recruitment team.

A big no from moi.

Not for me especially at that price. Doesn't pass the character test unless Nuno has specifically asked for someone fast, unhinged and a poor finisher.

Wasteful but gets in positions and makes things happen. 15 goals and assists in 30 games last year, a few more the year before. I think if he was 30-35m and he wanted to come id bite.

Certainly fits the bill of ‘maligned player from another club that needs a bit of rehabilitation’ - but his tendency to get a red card is a difficult one to overcome

Jackson has potential to be absolutely awesome - he has everything. Get him away from Chelsea (how is anyone supposed to do well there?) and he'll shine. Maybe needs an arm around him and a set of fans who'll get behind him.

I remember Tommy, he managed my home town club, Ballymena United, eventually, after a long and successful spell at Glentoran in Belfast. Incidentally, Nigel Jemson came to play half a season in Ballymena at the end of his career too.
I was stood next to a fella from Ballymena in the Forest end at the Brighton FA cup away match. Hell of a trip he’d had to get there I remember - wonder if you might know him?

Unfortunately Tommy joined Forest in a part exchange deal with Everton for one of our last remaining stars (Henry Newton) in 1970 when the club was going downhill.

He was part of our relegated team in 1972 and left the club soon after Brian Clough arrived in 1975.

He won’t get that at Chelsea, he’s not a finished article

I remember watching a Chelsea game about half way through the season and the entire ground was booing him about 20 minutes into the game because he'd missed a few chances. I thought wow I wouldn't want to play for these twats ever again. The pressure that lays on you as a striker is immense. What I did like though was at least he kept getting into the positions and never hid from potentially missing the next one.

There's definitely a player in there and he could be one of those that just needs to get away from a toxic environment and start again.
