One site I saw has a quote from OG about CHO, Murillo and Savona saying they're close but will be back in that order. I don't think we've seen much of Murillo yet, so it is most likely that Savona is still recovering.

I guess players have been sold with injuries before, provided the medical shows no longer term issues or that the progress has been longer than expected recovering from them, it would be unlikely to stop him being sold, so I think it's probably safer to say he's still recovering

Murillo played 45 minutes against both Barcelona and Leverkusen, and CHO 45 minutes against Udinese, Leverkusen and Brest. Savona has been invisible.
 
It's possible Savona is abroad seeing a specialist we have previous with Niakhate, Biancone and Murillo of doing that and though Savona went to Portugal seems like he was on individual recovery training so might have had a setback

I think I remember Glasner mentioning him in one of his recent press conferences, and the official line was that he'd had a slight setback and as a result they were being cautious, but he should be back training soon.

The difficulty for him will be that he's coming back from a major injury, doesn't have a pre-season under his belt and will be trying to get up to speed to grab an opportunity in a single cup competition, before we (likely) exit that one early as well.

We probably need to accept this is going to be a challenging season.
I doubt we will make it beyond the 4th round.
And like Mark on Forest Focus I think 16th to 12th will be our likely league position.
