Over the past few weeks I've been thinking long and hard about the potential of a Season Ticket Renewal. The obvious factor being the thought of another season in the god awful third flight against the likes of Hereford and Bournemouth & Boscombe.

Today's match day experience has just about nailed the coffin and piled 6ft of Sealion spu*k on the lid.

For my sins, I sit in A-Block Main Stand.

This area of the ground has been treated like a leprosy colony for many seasons now. There is no point trying to sell me the Cap One corner experience because it simply does not stack up against the traditional heart beat of the ground - A Block.

Main Stand A/B Block is now approaching a ratio of 1 High Vis for every 5 Forest fans.

For 90 Min's today this section of the ground was subjected to Nazi style stewardship while the entire 4/5k Wolves contingent were allowed to stand through the entirety waving and gesticulating.

Every attempt to stand in A/B block was met with a military style operation with a snatch squad.

Meanwhile over the shoulders of the Keystone cops the Wolves fans just laughed at our pathetic display of misguided loyalty.

When Wolves scored their fans, who were already standing, spilled forward, taking the advertising hording with them and hopefully a few high viz. A dozen or so ended up on the edge of the pitch.

Can anybody see where I'm going with this?

Talk about make your blood boil!

Then to cap it all some Wolves reserve player is allowed to run up and down the touchline gesturing towards the fans in A/B block!! Who the fu*k was he?

Why didn't the high viz brigade bring this to the attention of the match official or more appropriately the police??

Our poor misguided stewards seem hell bent on bringing misery to any fan who dares sit in A/B block.

If I needed one more reason to stop at home next year and keep my money the high viz brigade have just provided enough reason to fu** it off indefinitely.

I went to Goodison Park last season and sat in the away end. The stewards there sit down on the pitch and face the footie. I watched the Championship on TV last week and at various grounds the stewards could be seen jumping up and celebrating with the home fans when a goal was scored.

Forest are simply rotton to the core.

Every aspect of the club is run on an amateurish level and fans are treated with contempt.

Well fu** you Forest, I've had enough of being treated like a twa* for a £500 season ticket!! :w**ker: :w**ker:  :w**ker: :w**ker:

lol

There did seem a heavier than usual yellow jacketed fraternity up in the corner too.

As ever, they never gave me any bother.

That's because you are a model fan who stays within the ground safety guidelines as detailed in the Health & Safety Act 1994!

And you names Alan. :D

There's only so much that can be done to try and get 6k people sitting. Things have been like this for years surely so if you don't like it then just don't go?

Due to the coin throwing and spitting thats been taking place over the last few games.

There's a piece in todays Evening Post about it, we're looking at installing nets between the 2 tiers in the close season at a cost of £13k and the club won't sell tickets to the front 10 rows of Cap 1 on a matchday for the rest of the season

Yeah we have 6k away fans every week. :nowink:

When World War III kicks off I pray I'm not in the trenches alongside the like of you. Although I suspect you would probably be a conscientious objector? ::)

100% agree ...

I dont even particually want to stand up at home, I sit fairly low in the upper teir so have no need to, but the stewards and just so pathetic its untrue and even more so the club allowing Wolves to bring over 5K when they claim that they can't put away fans in the bc because of 'Health and Saftey' ?

Another thing I've always wondered ... why is it for our 'health and saftey' that we have to sit down during the game, yet everyone is aloud to stand at half time ? ::)

I was actually referring to you personally being told to sit down. There have been several threads over the past couple of years on this subject so I fail to believe this has come as a surprise to you. If you're not happy with the way you are treated, don't go. It's a simple solution. :)

The Wolves fans standing up isn't something I agree with. Everybody in the ground should be treated as equals and I don't think that happened today so I have a little sympathy with you there but I really don't think there is a lot the police/stewards at the ground today could have done. Allowing them to have that many tickets on the other hand is something they could have had a say in so it's a problem they could have avoided.

In general though I go to watch the football, not the away fans.

Im sure there was some research aswell that said its safer to celebrate a goal stood than to suddenly stand from sitting.

Totally agree. When I'm up I make a beeline for the A-block. Great atmosphere and a great bunch (if your a Forest fan ) But the way I got treated for standing up and singing was totally disgusting ! I swear I have been treated better by drill instructors. If people didn't want to stand up, sing and shout then they wouldnt be sat in the A block, so no your not ruining people's views.

The fact it has an over 18 tag on it should show people that it is the main area for singing etc !

BD keeps on about support and wanting the fans to be as the away are. Well Billy, throw us a frickin bone and we will ! Get the hitlers to bloody calm down and have a serious word with the safety director (why do I get a Keith Lard image when I imagine him ? )

It's not a frikkin ballet. These sorts are the same who worry because the word black is used in a childrens nursery rhyme and it's destryoing football support. I went to see Abington the other day and even got told I would be thrown out unless I quietened down, I mean come on !!!!

100% agree. i sat in cap corner for the derby match and will hopefully never sit there again. Main Stand block C/D is the place to be, not much in the way of singing etc but no hassle from the muppets.

There certainly does seem to be some sort of an "agenda" lets say to clear A and B block of the more vociferous elements of the Forest support,it certainly was more heavy handed than usual today.....what was getting everyones back up was the stasi's finger jabbing in your face and the mild" "I'll have your ticket of you PAL" threats being issued....other way round it would have been collar felt and a three year ban!!!!.

boycott these area's and sit somewhere else, then what would the muppets/stewards do.

I hate A block stewards the timse I have been phsyically draged from me seat, for the crimes of standing up and singing, or simply standing up for fellow fans, there heavy handed aproach would loose a night club bouncer his licence, I myself have been rugby tackled down the steps leaving the ground, I have seen a women knocked flying In the past, can remember a guy getting chucked out against leicster a few years back for standing up to go for a piss, I tend to try and get tickets as far towards the back as possible now as its harder for the muppets to get you, but theres one steward who makes a bee line for me everytime Im in the ground.

the clubs a joke, they mistreat the fans daily yet I still cant bring myself to turn my back on them and the coin throwing In cap corner is bloody chavs that should be banned anyway
