We badly need a new number 1 next season...Smith is as shakey as a leaf in nets and we havent even been linked with a keeper all summer.
 
it's weird that I agree - we've been linked with everyone else but not a keeper
 
I still would like to see Smith in goal for us next season.
 
We've signed Mark Bunn, an announcement will be made tomorrow

He finished the season rather strongly, actually.
 
If we start with Smith I would be happy. If we can get better in then great. As long as it's not Turner. He wasn't very good.
 
I like Smith, not quite in the Rich mould of wanting him to jizz all over me kind of way, but regardless of this, he needs credible and serious competition for his place.
 
We do really need a GK.

I would of suggested Kasper if Joe Hart wasnt going to be loaned out.

Everone wants Lee Camp, but I think we could do better tbh. Yes he did very well for us, but I think theres better options available.

However if Camp did join I would be very happy, but that deal seems to have gone.
 
I refuse to entertain the idea of signing Bunn unless he agrees to change his name by deed poll to Cob.

Why? Obviously you have an unnatural attachment to Flapper Smith, but that doesn't make it necessary to dislike King Campo, the greatest reds stopper since Shilts.
 
Camp is not a good keeper, Im not saying Smith is wonderboy, i think we need healthy competition for the no1 spot so we do need to sign a new keeper...but also perhaps we need to look at the coaching staff, I'm sure before Smith joined us he was destined for big things...what happend

You know Paul Smith is the blond one who couldn't catch Swine Flu, whilst Camp is the game saving, points winning keeper who used to play for Derby?

I just want to be sure you haven't confused them... 8)
